I also called them back unknown they claim to be a law firm but why would they call unknown to begin with and give a number to call back but no details whatsoever it is an absolute scam if I've ever heard one myself and should be reported to your attorney general's office for your state. Too many times citizens are taken in a lot of phone scams like this especially elderly, this has to stop report them immediately.

Statute of limitation for collections is 7 years. Don't give 'em anything.

That differs from state to state.  Some can range from 3 to 10 years.  Better check which state the poster in in.

I received a message from my daughter in law who was contacted by this phone number to contact me because there is a civil action against  me from a credit card debt back in 2003-2008.  I called the number and reference number and they have my last four digits of my social security number.  They told me they would begin wage garnishment , etc etc.  Sounds like a scam to me!

Deez be sum saspicous fools. I contacted my probation office Mr. Perkins he said I was all good , hoping to be off probation in next 36 moths. I been payin my court fines and been passing my pee test.

These pos scammers call your family, your job anything to intimidate you into giving them cash

They called and left a VM for someone I never heard of but same last name.

I received a call from this number they had my All my info in regards to my  Credit one account they were asking for payment arrangements in which I thought was ligit. They started to take money out of my account monthly $50 it wasn't until Jan 2019,That I received a call from another collection agency in which I had dealt with before asking for payment for the same account I explained to them that I was already making pmts  Right away they question how much had I payed them ect. After they gathered info that nothing was applied to the account in question they told me they were scammers going by Dawson and Associates I immediately called my bank to stop all electronic payments to them Yep they got me for $250. They leave messages that they are taking you to court on fraudulent charges with your own account if you don't call them Marshall is the so called lawyer I. Had questioned him when was I going to get my letter with the arrangements I. Never got it after several times being told it was on. It's way following week he was going to over night it week after that he supposedly used wrong address etc  Then I called him that they were going to be investigated he replied We're not scammers I can return your money if you wish.... Never got it unfortunately nor could I get it from my bank

received a message from these letigation company Dawson and Associates threatening me to call back if I didn't want to face fraudulent charges from a credit card I once owned needless to say they are nothing but scammers and they go as far as using now a different company name  ACO using the same way to get you scared etc
