- LittlepoohI’m a 100 % disabled veteran who supplied them with all the info for vets patient choice and turned the bills over to the VA admin in my State. They need to work it out with the VA and stop calling me!!!!

- fedupI never answer toll free or unidentified numbers ever! Left message saying it was mercy customer service and to call such and such number ASAP. Mercy is a hospital, medical service with a long history in Oklahoma. They think they have you there, especially Oklahomans. Problem is I have had no dealings with them in like 20 years, so more than likely it's a scam using the mercy name to get you to talk to them.

- Suspicious replies to IrritatedI got the same recorded phone-bot as everyone else. I called the number and got the same recording as everyone else. After pressing an option it asked for my social security number. Wait a minute, your phone-bot called me, then i call another phone-bot and it asks for my SS #.. DUH UH UH NO! How stupid would you have to be? DO NOT EVER give out your SS # or any other personal information over the phone. Sadly we all do it. Well from now on their recording can talk to my recording and the recordings can hash it out there.
- KristinIt is Mercy Hospital. I go to a clinic of theirs on the Mercy grounds, and they’ve sent me for bloodwork several times over the last few years, and every time I go there, I bring them a piece of paper from the clinic stating I’m not to be charged in large, bold letters. Never had any issue until now. Last week they mailed a letter asking for the money for my most recent lab work, and now they’re calling. I already called and let them know I’m not responsible for it and explained it all, but now they’re calling.
On the last visit I had for simple, routine blood work, I sat with a lady in one of the reception cubicles who looked long and hard at the paper stating not to charge me, and she continuously typed things into her computer, staring at it a long time before messing with papers on her desk. She also asked me the same two questions twice. I was with her for 20-25 minutes. It only takes 5 or so, since they’re just putting my visit into my account on the computer and handing me the document to give to the ladies in the lab. I knew something was off with the woman I had. All that time she took, and she still managed to make an irksome mistake. 🙄
As other have stated on here, I’m concerned for Mercy’s billing department, as well. Seems erroneous decisions are made very often. Keep all the paperwork you’re given from any business, big or small, just in case something like this happens and you need to defend yourself (and your finances). These days, it can almost be expected.- Caller: Mercy Billing

- DON " replies to Let's be fair| 1 replyJust because the phone number is Mercy's phone number doesn't mean it is really them talking to you " they are apps any one can download on their cell phones where you can type in any phone number you want and call anyone from the app and your real number won't show up on the caller I.D. only the number that you picked will be seen. Scammers and crooks use these apps to trick people for information and money. Ive heard of some crooks use the app and type in the phone number of their local police departments or court houses and scam people out of their information and money. So don't believe people who call you unexpectedly it likely could be a crook.
- Don " replies to mad little hen| 1 replyKY-3 News had a News report about Mercy being caught and charged for Insurance fraud mainly for Medicare patients, they are being forced to pay $ 135- million dollars in fines and repayment to Medicare ". - KAB replies to Don "Thank you for this info. My spouse is on Medicare and another insurer through the company he retired from It says right on the EOB from our insurance that Mercy has accepted the Medicare payment. If that's the case, why are they billing us? I'll never go back to Mercy again. Didn't like the hospital or the staff, anyway.
- GI don't have medicare. That said according to MyMercy I do owe, the amount they say I owe I have disputed with my insurance. The insurance is telling Mercy that I owe a coinsurance. Before July of this year I never paid coinsurance for this particular provider that the bill is for, ever and now my insurance is saying I do. I refuse to pay the bill till my insurance gets its act together and pays for what they should have been paying for.

- Ray Milam replies to adamI received a non pay bill from Mercy last Friday March 25, I checked my account and it was paid on March 15. I called 1 -855-420-7900 to inquire about the billing error. I was put on hold for twenty minutes and was disconnected. I tried to call back and all I heard was an error message. I don’t know what to do with this!
