I received a harrassing call from this number. Sayin on behalf of Delray. They had my information bc they made me believe they were involved with my prev. Loan company. When i returned the phone call to a "patrick hewitt" he was very irate from the start. I hardly had a chance to say my name before he started literally screaming at me. Calling me a liar and stating that unless I had the money on my card to stop calling him! After hanging up on me a few times I decided to google the number. All these forums were so helpful I had to share my story! These people are ridiculous! Extremely rude and very obvious to be a scam!!! DO NOT PAY THEM

Actually it's extortion, if the debt is not a valid one. No claim has been filed anywhere. Debt collectors are not interested in filing anything; they want quick money from their victims. Owing a civil debt is not a crime and debt collectors don't prosecute crimes.  Evading proper service may be stupid, but it's not a crime either.

A mr. Evens keeps calling arguing and making rude comments to my 80 & 81 year old grandparents threatening and scaring them about something that has nothing to do with me or them. From this number and a blocked number. How do I get it to stop

I have been getting calls from these people for months now. When they first called I got the same as everyone else, call us back or we are taking you to court. At first I ignored the calls then they called my mother-in-law. So I called them back and talked to a man Named Mike Jeffries from Del Ray.  I told them to send me a bill to be paid and I would pay it, but I needed a bill sent to my house. They never sent the bill and called me again 2 weeks later saying they could no longer wait. This time I talked to a woman and I told her I requested a mailed bill. She told me it showed on the computer that I did and that it had not been sent out and she would see to it that it did.  I never got a bill and now they are calling again from the same two numbers and saying they are cooper mitigation company.

Just spoke to some guy at that number. Tried. He said just pay it and told me that I better not get a lawyer or else. Ha ha.

I have received multiple phone calls from this number as well as 716-418-8230 and 716-504-6963 at home, work, and at my parent's house. They have been rude and disrespectful and refuse to comply with any of my rights under the FDCPA. In fact, when confronted, they even said that they do not fall under the FDCPA and yet they wanted me to settle a 1600 debt with them. They call me everyday, repeatedly, stating that "this is my final attempt to contact you." They tell me that they are going to serve me papers and that I am required to report for a pretrial meeting because of the multiple counts of fraudulent checks against me, yada, yada, yada... They are very convincing in there yammering because they know so much about me. I have reported them to the FTC as well as my state's attorney general's office. I have refused to speak to them and now they are leaving me messages stating that they are going to make recommendations to my state to have my teaching license suspended. Seriously? It is such a shame that so many of us are being harassed and subjected to their attempts of extorting money. I believe in paying my debts and that if you borrow it, you need to give it back but I also know my rights as a consumer and this all just a scam. Even if I did owe this debt, they wouldn't get any money because I have proof that THEY are the ones breaking the law.

They are thertning me every day on my cell phone they even say they have a docket number
I called the police and they said its a scam.

I've received a call a few minutes ago. They told me the sheriff's was to deliver court papers to me on Friday concerning a lawsuit and criminal charges. I was told to call the number and give them a case number so I can work on settlement. I called the Sheriff department to check and they had no record of any documents about me yet. I'll call the Sheriff's office before their expected arrive to recheck.

I've been having the same problem with Cooper & Delray. Just call your Attorney Generals Office and Call the FTC and report these people!  They can not do what they are doing period. IT'S A SCAM!!!!

Total scam, I tried to have them remove me from their call list and the guy said no way till the talked to some random person they were looking to contact. Pure scam! Fake name and all. " Cooper Mediation Firm" my ass.

I receive a call from 8554638828 ex 315... I call the number he told me I have to pay 943$$$ or I am going to go count court if I go to county court  I have to pay 3600 plus the judgment ..I call my loan company they told me this is scam ...

I have been dealing with them for 3 days and today, when I asked for confirmation of debt, before they could collect- she started yelling at me to check my credit report, I obviously took out the loan and I should pay it next time. She then said "I don't care- I would rather you be served, at this time" , since she had threatened a process server would come to my home or office.

After asking her for an e-mail with the written total amount and settlement amount.
She started yelling that I have received more than enough correspondence to know how much I paid and the company is not going to "jump through hoops for me". In addition, I said "Would you just let me speak to a supervisor?" and she said "At this point, I would just rather you get served." (because supposedly, a process server was being sent out to my home or office to serve me on criminal and civil charges for debt not paid to CashNetUSA). I finally got over to as supervisor, who, within 2 minutes of the call sent me the e-mail. Unfortunately, they are a legitimate debt collector, but their employees are shady and rude!!

I keep getting hassled by this 855-463-8828 number, telling me that a person in my family, who does not live here..owes money, and will be prosecuted if money not paid, who is a grown adult ...they are calling me shouting at me,saying threatening things, as if they think I'm going to cough up money to them..what kind of people are they any way?  Who are these people..if they are a reputable outfit, why are they hassling me, when you can google anyone today..I turned this over to my attorney..

I would like to add that I did contact my attorney..he said they have no right to be calling me, shouting...Patrick Hewett, oh, and mr Kyle Butler does not understand the words DONT call here??oh! and let's not forget miss Amanda Bennington..who says she doesn't play like the guys do, she will just turn over the person they are looking for..come on..you have to hassle someone's parent by phone...really? It's getting you far isn't it it?  You won't get dollar one ..you say you are a law firm?  Good , then we will just see about that..reporting these people to the Attorney General, and getting them for phone harassment..will be a pleasure..keep up your stupid non-educated work..it's really paying off big time ...who are these ignorant idiots anyway..oh, I guess the Attorney will dig into that..
