You're dealing with an industry which thinks that 300% is a cheap interest rate. It's crawling with criminals who traffic in personal data. Why bother offering you a financial product if they can skip right to the part where they scare money from your pants?

How nice for you. First, a natural person cannot be registered, only a phone number. Second, DNC registration makes no difference to callers which are exempt. You were supposed to learn all about this when you tossed your numbers in the pool.

This is a total scam.   They are trying to  scare you into paying them something.  Only public prosecutors can file criminal charges.  Debt collectors have nothing to do with the criminal justice system.  They have no powers of arrest and no influence on police or prosecutors.   This is typical of the debt scamming  tactics of Del Ray and Cooper Mediation.  Ignore them.  Do not talk to them do not give them any information.  Do NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!

Report them:  

* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage     http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).  
They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.

That isn't going to help you, the people calling you are basically crooks who ignore the DNC list.  

You can report them.  The only address I have for these jerks is the one I posted.  Yet it's not clear exactly where these callers are located.  

Contact the  New York state attorney general and make a complaint.  Give them as much information as you can.

Called said legigation is in court on a unpaid loan from 2009 I do not have. Call every hour also I have 50 emails how to stop them

Calling saying he is Eric Smith from Cooper Meditation Firm  they are attempting to notify me of  charges piled up against me and if I don't respond within 48 hours they are going to the county I live in and I will be arrested for not paying it and handling my business. They say the number is 1855-463-8828 and extension 309 with some file number you can't understand because he starts coughing.  he say I can be reached at the litigation department. And all through the recording it is pausing as if it prerecorded.

They call claiming to send a sheriff to the the house if I then get a prepaid card r bank information to them today

This company is attempting a collection scam. They will have alot of your personal information that obviously they have obtained from various soures. They got mine from the now defunct masd street group. They claim to represent us fast cash and others and have reasonable soundibg answers for every question.  Dont be fooled. I was contacted with threats directly violating the fdcpa. I was also told they were lawyers again violating the fdcpa and the law. They refused to give me a valid address to send a verification letter once giving me 26 webster st north tonawanda new york which is  a restaurant. My attempts to contact them whike recording wwere met with hang ups. Wanna get these guys off the phone and outta your life? Tell em they are violating the fdcpa and that your recording any calls and information to be used in possible litigation.  Haven't had a call since then. I would also contact what ever cpmpany they claim to be representing. Also your local attorney generals office. File a complaint with the ftc too

Call blocker is your best bet.  You should be able to block the e-mails too.  Don't pick up on call numbers you don't recognize.

Total scam.  Ignore.

Robert Johnson called me saying that their was an investigation involving me for a bad check on a payday loan I had.  I did indeed have a payday loan but they told me i was going to be charged criminally which is illegal to do on a payday in my state, when i told them that they argued with me so, I called the payday loan company and found out they were a scam, those who say they are legit are working for the company trust me they stopped calling me after I told them i reported them to the CFB and the FTC and My States Attorney General

These people are a joke, I'm an old employee, if your getting calls don't return them, yes you may owe money on a pay day loan but there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that can happen to you for owing on one, they are illegal in most states now. Todd wier is the owner & has old convicted felons by the name of Christopher Carrubba working for him, look him up credit card theft totaling over 36,000 in boca raton fl so DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO because he could steal it. Todd has been in trouble in the past for fraudulent stock's please don't believe these people. Contact your AG right away if they call you.

Thats awesome.  I was calling them three tomes a day to harrass em and got bored. Now ill call and asked for todd or chris hs haha

Cooper mediation firm was calling me daily stating that I was going to be arrested for a old payday loan debt. It was a Robert Johnson then a Mrs bishop. I told them I reported them to my states attorney General.  Now that I reported them I called the other day and all of a sudden they never heard of me or my file number. And not mention the payday loan company said they never sold my debt or authorized them to contact me. They are a big scam.

I got a call from a man sayin he was from the county court house...and gave me a number to call. I call the court house and no one by that name works there..... So I called the number he left and told them that I called and checked on this name and it was bogus... I was going to report it... she started yelling at me wanting information that I would not give.. She told me to get my fat butt off her phone!!!!!!! REALLY!

I just reported them to the Attorney Generals Office... I hope they are reading this!!!!!!!

855-463-8828.  Have gotten calls stating that they are going to serve me on Civil and criminal charges.  I did look up this number, and thanks to you fine folks, now have peace of mind that they are not legit.  I even got a call at work today claiming to be from Dallas County, and that I was going to have a bench warrant against me for process evasion.  This guy really had me going, and I was shaking and upset, until I got home and thought this through.  He gave the the aforementioned phone number, and urged me to call to clear up the matter before it gets much worse.  When the first guy called, I did request written documentation via mail, which I  have not gotten.  Dang, these jerks are working hard to get me!  

If they are legit like you claim why did they so called clear my file after I contacted the federal authorities and cashnet verified that they were a scam? Is this you Robert Johnson?

New Development..called me at work again this past Tuesday.  Same guy who claimed he was from Dallas County, now claims to be from Tarrant County.  I asked him if he changed jobs, and if he had a phone number I could reach him at...he gets all huffy and says, "  Don't you worry.  We know where to find you.  Don't be getting lippy with me!!"

Seriously, I did call Tarrant County, and they, naturally, had nothing on me.  These folks are bogus, and under no circumstances should you give up any personal or financial information to them.  Report them, and maybe they will go away.
