I automatically dismiss any caller who tries to identify me using a reference number or case number.
Everyone I've ever done business with identifies me by name.

They'll just have to look up their numbers once I tell them my name.

I’m calling them back right now to let them know that I know they are scammers and if they contact me again, I will take action. It’s definitely a scam.

Okay, so I just got ahold of a lady and she said that my phone number was on court documents as a point of contact for a man named Richard ****. I told her that they had the wrong number and that I don’t know him, but I have had other people call me looking for him. So now I’m wondering if it is a scammer. If I had never had anyone else try to contact him via my number, I’d for sure say scam. Now I’m curious. I should’ve said he was my husband and I want to know what court documents she is referring to. Oh well, lost my chance.

I got the same prerecorded message from the lady saying I needed to contact them about my intent to satisfy some [unknown] obligation that many of you have quoted word for word. I called back because I wanted to know why they’re calling me. I assumed it was a scam and I was going to inform them that I knew they were scammers. But when I called a lady answered and asked which extension I needed and I said “I don’t know. You called me so I’m trying to find out why”. She asked for the number they called and I gave her my phone number. She said that my number was on court documents for a man named Richard *** (redacting his last name for his privacy). I told her I didn’t know him and that they had the wrong number. I have received calls for this same man before so I’m not sure if it was legit or not, but it does seem fishy. No case number, no details left on the message, nothing. At least maybe they’ll stop calling me now.

Just received same message. No caller ID nor discussion of what it is relating to. Very dodgy!

I get at least 3 or 4 calls a day (never answer), leaving the same 0:43 second long recorded voicemail message in a woman's voice with a northeast accent; "Please be advised that there have been several unsuccesful attempts to reach you. To ensure records are complete and accurate,...".  Now they call from multiple spoofed numbers with my same area code. I block each number, and then they call right back from a new one.Been going on for months.

Same as above a lady leaving a message dont say who for or what company so i called and some lady answered and i said so u like scamming people and she says what so i repeat myself and say do u like scamming people and she hung up

Got this call over and over again past few weeks called today they said I had a bad check from 2015 from check into cash funny I haven't got a loan from check into cash sense 2013 and it was paid and then said the address they had on file was from a address I hadn't lives at sense like 2008 and was in a totally different town then where I lived when I took a loan they did have my last 4 of my ss# im guessing sense of applied for credit recently hackers have got into my info some how he had bits and pieces of my life but nothing more. Also he said his name was Walter black

those places are all run by criminals (who else would charge those interest rates) they sold all your information to other criminals and that is why you are getting these calls now and in the future.

Same as all above...they call almost ever day but from a different number everyday.  Same message.

I’ve gotten 2 so far! Same lady... last week and now this week. Safe to say it’s a scam. I’m sick of this bs.

I got a call last week and now today same lady same message no mention of where they r from and whom they r calling for

Calls mutiple times with the same message.

I keep getting the message saying they have made several attempts to contact me without giving a  name because over 200 people work in our office
