    I've been receiving several calls this week from this company.  They spoke with my manager and told him I'd be picked up from work and arrested for bank fraud.  Each time they block their number but leave a message on my cell with their contact info and ext. 302.  I finally called back--she asked me to go and get a prepaid debit card and load it with $100.00 payment.  I asked her to fax over info on this account and address to mail in the payments-she said the only way to avoid being served was to set up debit card payments.  She even told me I could lose my job if taken to court.  ILLEGAL--I work in this line of business and I know this is against the law on every level.

    They buy accounts for pennies, inflate the balance, and harass people with their calls. They better find another job for themselves instead of harassing people.

    They called my mom, she was so terrified that she wanted to come home from work and pay it off. She called me at work, and ask me to come home. I asked her to give me their number. I pretended to be her. I had worked in collections a few years ago, so I asked them for a debt validation letter, he refused, said he wasn't required since this is a legal case and I wasn't entitled to one. He also said he wasn't required to tell me that it was an attempt to collect a debt. I told him I don't remember the debt, so without proof I wouldn't agree to any arranement. When I told him that debt wouldn't be paid, he said that that I would be served at work tomorrow at 10:00 AM.  He said I would be charged with fraud, so I asked him if the DA would serve the papers, he said why? I told him cause only in criminal cases can you be charged for a crime. I told him that i have no money and that the call would end, he asked if there is any one that could help me? I said my nephew who is a probation officer, but knowing him, he wont lend me any money unless I see a letter first. Put me on hold said attorneys wont send letter unless I give him money, and that my reference would be called as witnesses, I told him fine I will use my nephew as a character witness too, since he knows the law and I'm sure he has friends that are attorneys. It's now Thursday and I havent heard from them since Monday. I believed this is a scam, I was in debt once while in college, a law firm had the debt. They sent me a letter first letting me know that they were handling debt, not once were they threatning when I called them, they allowed me to make payments. I think people are being scam only cause of the tax refund money being available. Also they claimed that they didn't have a website, that's why I couldn't find them online. I tried to do research they told my mom that they were in Virginia, yet there is nothing on them, not even a business license. It's funny have we can only find them in this forum.

    Got a call from a supervisor where I work and apparently someone named "Mason" has been calling. It's not even my supervisor for one, and second I've been made aware that my company has a strict policy against dealing with employee financial affairs and I need to get it taken care of.  I called and left a stern message. Guess I just wait and see now.

    Dear Nicholas;

    People in this collection agency should be ashamed of themselves. They try to embarrass you be calling you at work and that is illegal. Someday, they will be sued for their behavior.
