wants me to complete a survey for the state of ohio that will take 20 min.  i pay for my cell minutes and refuse to waste them on this [***], then to call me on a sunday to boot is [***]!

same here... the person on the other end kept repeating hello. I did not respond.  can't wait till they call again... i found my girl scout whistle  :D

I recevied a call from 855-500-1438 on 7/7/2012. I  am on the national do not call list for telemarektinhg companys and scam I have ask you before to stop call. Will you please stop calling me.

This appears to be legitimate. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I did cal this one back, in hopes of being removed from the call list.

No option for removal, but if you Google "Ohio Family Health Survey", it's a legitimate, multi year survey sponsored by Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center.

It's called number recycling... the most obvious answer would be that the previous owner of the number your 11 year uses.. use to belong to a drug dealer.

Got the same call as others but I started to ask her where were her children.  She paused for a moment and before she could utter the next word, I told her I know where she lives......
I have not gotten another call back since! Sad it has to come to this, but our freaking government won't act to stop it despite the so called do not call list.

I got another call from 1-855-500-1438  from someone name Jasman about doing a survery. I am on the national do not call list for telmearketing companys and  scams. I have ask you before to stop calling me.

They can get around the National Do-Not-Call list if they're taking "surveys".

Got numerous calls from this number.  I finally told the woman to take my number off their list.  "Oh, the Do Not Call List" doesn't apply to us.  I said, "I don't care if it does or not, take my number off your list".  They are still calling.

Someone wrote that the "Ohio Family Health Survey", it's a legitimate, multi year survey sponsored by Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center, and that it is legit.  I did google it, and they are 100% correct - it is legit.  For those who are on the Do Not Call List, or pay to have an unlisted number - doesn't matter, I just read their RFA (Request for Application).

They call and call but they are not the State of Ohio.  I know that since I went on the Do Not Call Registry I get more calls than I got before it was established.  These people call day and night and weekends too.

Did not answer and I broke the connection.  They have called, at least, four times in the last few days and I know the number when I see it.  More scam.

I have been receiving calls from this number.  Up until today when they called I ignored them.  Today I answered and was given the information that this survey is being done by RTI International who was hired by the Ohio State Government to take this survey.  I was given the number for the State Representative in charge of the survey (1-888-643-7787 Don Reed Ohio Family Health Survey, Ohio Department of Health).  

The Lady explained that the survey was simply a research study and RTI was hired to do the brunt work for the research.  I did not take the survey then but when they call back next I probably will.  After looking into it from several different angles it seems legitimate and it's not like they don't already have my number.

They just keep calling, there is no end to these people.  National Do Not Call Registry is no help and there are more calls now than before it was started.  I broke the connection without answering the call.  They are not who they want you to think they are, another scam just after information.

They call here constantly over and over but don't leave a message.  I refuse to answer the calls and sometimes I just pick up the receiver and drop it back down just to break the connection.  I don't think this place has anything to do with the State of Ohio but if they do, someone needs to shut them down.  The Do Not Call Registry doesn't work.

Caller identifies themselves as a representative of State of Ohio. doing health care survey. wants to know if my # is home or cell, my answer, "none of your damn business" They start asking personal questions that i would never answer to a complete stranger. this starts out as a survey but ends up being someone fishing for personal info for telemarketer purposes.  Only discuss your health care with your family and doctor and your own insurance company. Never with an unidentified calller. file a complaint with the feds at DONOTCALL.GOV  . only takes a minute to file a complaint. everyone should do this so they can be fined out the wazoo.

I really don't care if they are "legit" or not. The calls are NOT welcomed, and are a NUISANCE. If they really want to know my opinion, they are a pain in the A$$.

This number called my cell phone at 8:05pm.  They left a one second message where somebody sighed.  I am on the do not call list.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.  I do live in Ohio so I believe it's the survey people listed above.

This number called and her name is Ms. Kirkpatrick and she is conducting a survey about health care in Ohio.  I told her to remove my number and she said they do not have a way to remove my number but she would make a note not to call.  Yeah right that will happen!!!
