It seems like everyone here has the same problem with this scam artist.  Reading all the posts here, maybe EVERYONE should report Andrew to the Competition Bureau, like was previously posted.  It is their job to shut down these companies that are trying to scam money out of people.  I just reported him and they said that the more people that do, the better case they have.

Andrew Vanne, has been harassing our company, and even went so far as to try to contact the President of our company. This person is belligerent and a bully, do not engage with him, just report it!

After all, he is 50-something and still has a major Star Wars fetish (and there is nothing wrong with being a rabid Star Wars fanatic)  But most legitimate, professional companies would NOT have Darth Vader's theme on their answering machine.  A little hard to take an individual seriously when that comes on.  But I suppose he thinks it make him appear menacing, threatening, intimidating-all powerful!!  Andrew seems more like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs...............................

After being harassed by these people, I got in contact with the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre.  They confirmed that Canada Business Pages, and CCDD are one in the same, and are known to be a fraudulent company.  After telling Andrew I refused to pay (and in return being told that he wished to speak to a 'grown up') I started receiving numerous back to back calls from an unknown number. This has continued for almost a week now.  Don't speak to these people, just hang up!

Well, I have a fun way to deal with this. A friend of mine has a popular internet show and when people call up and harrass me, I get the internet to return the favour for me. So, to who ever runs this number, enjoy our next contest. Someone will win a prize for the most entertaining crank call caught on film and posted to the net. Oh what fun the world can be when you decide to screw with me. Have a great time.

Andrew told me that I don't have to sign to order a pizza, that is true but when the pizza man comes to the door he provides me with an actual product for me. If it's not what I ordered I don't have to pay for it. A proper business trains their staff to behave respectfully. The thing is that the people you are stealing from and are trying to steal from may be in a lot of financial stress or worse off than you Andrew if that is your real name which i doubt it is. As a child you suffered greatly and feel you need to take it out on the world....this is only bringing negative energy to you. Your days are full of stress from calls you make and calls you receive and I'm guessing the most frequent emotion is anger.  You live in constant worry that one day you will be exposed and all this stress and anxiety is ruining your body. You have created so many enemies and strangers hate you.....that is sad to see. I really hope that you change your ways and find peace in your life before something bad happens to you as a result from all this. Because I assume people wish you harm. It would be a shame if you have a daughter or son and they or their offspring started in the same path you are on. From experience I can tell you that help only comes to those who help themselves....but by doing this you are only hurting yourself. Take care of yourself Andrew before the negative side-effects of your actions take care of you.

Andrew works for CM Pages people !  CCDD is NOT even a real company !   Andrew has no business savvy whatsoever !
Everyone in Canada is aware they are a scammer business (I use the word "business" lightly here - real, legitimate business Never pull [***] like this on honest companies !)

Dont be mad people are upset. The threatening phone calls and faxes will make anyone pissed off.
If you dont like nasty replies then perhaps you should run a legit business.

Hey Andrew, maybe you should take out a listing in the Canada Business Pages as no one has heard of your phony a$$ company.  Or is it simply another scam division of the CBP.
In the future, at least try to send someone a fake contract.

I've had the exact same issues. I Googled CCDD to find a mailing address to mail cheques that I already filled out. I found this forum instead and no real CCDD. I've since contacted Canadian Anti Fraud center and they couldn't tell me to not pay someone but after I explained to them the details and what had been going on from the star wars music to the unprofessional behavior, they were able to tell me that I seemed to know what was going on and to simply ignore Andrew. Andrew contacted me Monday 02/23. I hung up on him like the officer told me to and Andrew immediately following twice. After not answering him his been sending automated calls from 1(613). Since Monday I've received a total of 23 times. 4 From the time I started to write this message. The more people that report Andrew to Canadian Anti Fraud, the more likely the RCMP is to take action. I just want to post this to show other people that Andrew is still active.

That's interesting Andrew, I would refer to you formally, but you never do give your last name.  You have been verbally abusive and fail to provide any documentation to prove your company exists and the charges are valid.  Perhaps you shouldn't throw stones.

Anyway, it is bills, not bill's.  Apostrophe in this case is not needed as it should be used for either a. shortening from 'bill is', as in "The bill's been mailed.", or b. to show ownership, as in "That is Bill's jacket."  Anyone whose job is writing business correspondence should know and use these rules.  Poorly done correspondence (and using more that one exclamation point, EVER!) undermines your credibility as a business professional.  As we and many others are working currently on developing a Class Action case in regard to fraudulent activities by CCDD and American Media Pages, your organizations may soon have ample opportunity to review many well-executed legal documents.

Perhaps you would like to enjoin in a Class Action suit?

I believe this individual uses "Vanne" as a last name.

I am sure the electronic forensic experts will be able to determine whether the recordings have been tampered with or manipulated in any way.

Just talked to the Government of Canada Fraud Centre (www.antifraudcentre.ca) about receiving another phone call about unpaid bills and the CCDD - Canada Business Pages.  The agent there told me more about this scam and the 'proof' they have about authorized billing and verbal contracts.  I was told that their audio proof is a spliced together file in which the target appears to agree to the contract, but was actually answering different questions not included on their audio file.  He said to hang up, and contact their centre if you hear from these people.

Scam. No signature. No deal. They lie and would suck the cash out of a 8 year old if they could.

Andrew is an incompetent person. So, therefore he or she is unable to make a legal verbal agreement over the phone using a form of entrapment.  Good luck with your skid life in mama's basement.
