- LHSame call from number several times a week different person leaving there name....always giving a call back number and times of operation. HAVE CALLED TO THIS Chrysler Corporation and told number would be removed....BUT IT HAS NOT... it has just been given to other idiots there to call you. They must get paid by number of calls --- NOT SUCCESS! For sure your number is not removed. HEY CHRYSLER if this is really you - WILL NEVER BY A CAR FROM YOU!!! FCC, Congress, the States and the telephone companies need to stop this stuff!

- TelcoKittyI've heard that these automated lists will just keep calling until the phone is answered, so I'm testing this theory: Picked it up, didn't say anything. Then a guy with an American accent asked for a person whose name I had never heard (so either my # made the rounds to a new debt collector list, or, more likely, bad info/wrong number).
Figuring I had nothing to lose, I said correctly that there is no person by that name here. He answered "Sorry, I will take that name off our list and make sure you don't get called by us again." Sure, maybe, maybe not.
Blocked all of 855-5***-**** anyway. At least it's a new name, so I can track this and see what happens.- Caller: Unavailable

- Shanna| 1 replyThis is Chrysler Capital, an auto finance company. They only call me when my payment is late on my lease. Legit caller.
- Caller: Chrysler capital
- Call type: Valid
- Pudge replies to ShannaThree points: 1) Why did you come to a phone number look-up site if you know who called you? 2) The problem is not that they call people who are "late on [a] lease" payment but that they call people with whom they have no business, as evident from the posts! 3) Numbers get spoofed, consequently, this may or may not be the same company for which you are shilling.
- LeaCalled looking for my daughters father. We haven’t been together in 11 years. He doesn’t own anything as far as a Chrysler or Jeep.

- Tygerkat replies to Mz.Am.StaffYou can be "on the no call list" all you want but it isn't a call blocker so it can't stop scammers from calling you.
- Meganmc7My msg named a person living next door but wouldn't ever be associated with me or my personal phone ....i merely wave in passing walking bk from the mailbox....( living in the country our houses set comfortably 4 privacy) its very odd his name was used but Im glad i didn't approach him 1st and inquire about the call. They been at this for a few years looking at dates posted here. They are obviously are succeeding in Whatever the scam, to continue 3 + yrs . Fyi - Um i'm on Do Not Call Registry as well , recently confirmed that I was actively still...due 2 Robo calls all day long to the point i rarely allow my ringtone On 90% of the time disrupting me from doing my job. - Chuckles replies to Rusty Shackelford| 2 repliesThis has been my experience.Registering with www.donotcall.gov, and www, fcc, gov is a joke. Have contacted both of them several times and it does NO GOOD! Just more created agencies by our government that are useless.
- BigA replies to Chuckles| 1 replyThis has been my experience. People like you and "Rusty Shackelford" do not have a clue what the registry is about and that the FCC has never had jurisdiction over debt collection calls. Especially ones from the original creditor since those calls are not even covered by the FDCPA. Perhaps before complaining you should look in the mirror and say to yourself, "I should take the time to learn before posting."
- Tygerkat replies to BigAAnd learn how to read the date a post was made so they aren't replying to one from several years ago, expecting that person to return and see their comment.
- virtualhorizonRecieved a call from this number at about 9:00 AM. Didn't answer but they left a voice message. Message was from a live person asking for a person unknown to me to return her call and she listed office hours. Beginning of the message was very garbled and I had to listen a number of times to make out the name of the person being called. She did not state what business she was calling for or the reason for the call. Looked up the number here and searched online and it is apparently legitimately Chrysler Capital. We've had the same phone number for over 20 years, so either they called the wrong number or someone gave them a wrong number or someone was spoofing the number. Hard to say these days, which is why we don't answer unknown numbers. Did not return the call. If they wanted a call back for a legitimate reason, such as a reference for a person I don't know, giving the reason for the call might have made a difference.
- Caller: Chrysler Capital
- Jc replies to penelopeScammers keep calling hoping someone will fall for whatever scam that time. Some want you to say the word “yes” so your recorded voice can be used to authorize payments. Best to not answer unknown calls and block number.
Send a report to FTC.gov, especially since you did answer and asked them to stop. Callers can spoof numbers to look like valid companies and say anything. - JenoCaller left message; trying to reach someone other than me. I called back and through their automated system, notified them I didn't have an account with them and to stop calling. It said within 48 hours it would take effect. We'll see
