Stupid is as stupid does. Check for payoff was paid by my bank on 11/17/20 and today is 11/19/20 still they call.
Now being reported to my attorney for possible action. CHECK WAS PAID BY USAA BANK.

Received this call while at work. Our vehicle is about to be paid off in 2 months. We make our payments every month due on the final week. Not late. They called and asked to speak to me or my husband and identified as Chrysler Capital and that I needed to confirm the vehicle they financed with us. But they then identified as a debt collector who's been assigned to our account. (We're not even late?). I told them all this and that the payment is scheduled to come out this week like normal. They then hung up. Phishing for credit card or bank info? Seems sketchy.
