- Anonym| 2 repliesCalled this number because someone called my work harassing my supervisor about me(weird thing is they know my supervisor and asked for my supervisor rather than me), and also making threatening comments. When I called this number they said I owe money, and when I was asking for further information they could not give it to me. The number they used to call my company was (310)598-7266, and when we tried calling back the number it says that it was investigation department and does not take incoming calls. So weird and wrong in so many areas, and this lady was threatening and told my supervisor to call (855)603-0998. So my wife called and ask what was this and they said it was a company called Capital Harris Miller and Associates. Now with that being mentioned to me and my wife we ask what it was for and all Kaim William said that there was a claim that was placed under my husband. Then they gave a claim number of 993453.
Before going into calling this so called company they left a voice mail in my home threatening by Julian Anderson to call the (855)603-0998, and that we have be warned.
I have known so many people that was called by investigators for something and they leave there number and even if they didn't the number would show up in the caller id and it would accept calls, and to top it off any investigators or what so ever is NEVER rude, but rather polite. This people are so rude, tries to get information to trap you to pay for something, and scare the heck out of you.
**THIS IS NO DIFFERENT FROM THOSE INDIAN PEOPLE CALLING, HARASSING, AND EVEN THREATENING.**
They will try to get you fired! They use different numbers!- Caller: CAPITAL HARRIS MILLER & ASSOCIATES
- Tamianth replies to AnonymMake sure you keep the threats and write it all down too with your witness. File reports with the FBI,FTC,FCC, your state attorney general... those are important to do!

- Patty| 1 replyThis lady called my job asking for my supervisor. I picked up the line and ask what this was all about and was told that this is an investigation department in regards to a case against me. I told her that if she has papers that are going to be served, then she can send them to my lawyer. She told me that they are not a process server and are only investigation my case and if I don't call the (800) number she gave me with my case number by the end of today, that I was going to be served with papers. Again I told her that she can serve my lawyer. I've gotten calls like this before and usually as soon as I tell them to serve my lawyer, then the caller usually hangs up. The number on my called ID was (310) 598-7266 and like "pissed" I got the same information that the phone number is an investigation department and the number does not take in coming phone calls. Just remember a legal process server does not call you to let you know that you are going to be served, they just come out to you and serve you.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers. - CWG40 replies to AnonymBBB Business Review
