- The only replies to Amazing Jackthing that's messed up is you - who would mislead people into paying random strangers with no proof that they even owe the money to anyone. What part of "this company started last April and isn't licensed to do business in NY" don't you understand?! Obvious shill is obvious! And your last sentence says it all about YOU - "Scum is all i got to say Scum"!
- The only ones laughing... replies to john...are the consumers who know their rights and know that this caller is a scam artist!
- Better go back... replies to bill...to school and take Reading Comprehension 101. That "fake article" is written by the Federal Trade Commission to address phone calls by scammers like you!
- Good question - replies to Andywhy are these morons harassing people with no debt?! Answer that, you sorry excuse for a shill!
- Whoa calm down replies to Jeffthere you scamming shill. What part of "They keep calling my number even after I tell them they have the wrong person and number. I have no idea who the person is they're looking for." don't you understand?!
- Clearly... replies to jill...you frauds must be trying to scare people into paying a bogus debt, a debt that's already been paid, or even a debt that is owed - but not to you!
- Angry as Hell replies to EricI notice a couple things on their website..
1. phone #'s given are TOLL FREE.
2. No address of the company on the website.
These are 2 major redflags. I use to work for an agency years ago and we gave our legit address (we had to by law) and not a PO Box or an address at a UPS Store or Mailbox Etc.
On BIZPEDIA they do not list an address either. The registered agent is a 3rd party "The Company Corporation." - Yoda1725 replies to InformantWhy does your employer use Domains By Proxy?

http://www.cashnetusa.com/consumer-notices - Tamianth replies to HaloSection 809 of the FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf requires 3rd-party debt collectors to give debtors written notice of debt (the key word is *shall*) :
"§ 809. Validation of debts
(a) Within five days after the initial communication with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt, a debt collector shall, unless the following information is contained in the initial communication or the consumer has paid the debt, send the consumer a written notice containing—
(1) the amount of the debt;
(2) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed;
(3) a statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector;
(4) a statement that if the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment against the consumer and a copy of such verification or judgment will be mailed to the consumer by the debt collector; and
(5) a statement that, upon the consumer’s written request within the thirty-day period, the debt collector will provide the consumer with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor." - NOT Esser James (or Assoc)Esser James & Associates- what a joke! I wouldn't trust these losers with collecting lunch money from a third grader much less my past due accounts receivables. I got one call from some chick that had a speech impediment, sounded like she kept saying Etthher Jamth and Athothiates, from the Pre-Legal Dept (whatever) left call back #855-624-9665. I swear I almost peed myself listening to her message. At first I thought it was a joke, till I looked them up on here. If you DO happen to talk to them, ask for the chick with the very cute speech problem (how many of them can there be, that work there?)
She sounded kinda sexy....I can just picture her with her jacked up voice, trying to sound serious about coming after me for some debt that wasn't even mine (they had the wrong number all along!)- Caller: Esser James & Associates

- JM replies to EricThese are the same butt holes that called me a few months ago telling me they had a warrant for my arrest. Really since when is credit card debt a crime? Not that I owe anything anyway. So she said in the message that if I would call them (now this was a month ago, at least) that she could stop the police from coming to my home. I'm still waiting for them to show up.
- JM replies to AndyKnow whats pathetic. Your use grammar. Bet you can't form a sentence to save your life.
