These people call my number for so many names and NONE live at my house or do I know them!!! :(

Yup they are trying to scam me too thank you for this post!!! I called back talked to a Kevin Woods, he was all nice but not the black guy who keeps calling, yelling, threatening me is a total dick and is obviously uneducated, I told him to give me proof that the bill was mine he said I had one week to come up with the money that charges with Maricopa county have been filled already. So I looked myself up, because I am educated and know how to do that, nothing filed under my name, this is what got me searching. I so happen to have a lawyer friend in Florida gave him the name he said no such law firm existed. So I called them again, got into a fight with the guy who's vocabulary did not fit an educated law firm employee and I told him so, and called him a few choice words. He hung up on me. I so hope he calls back, game on he got the wrong person this time!!!
I pulled my credit report and saw I do not have anything from "Orchard" bank.

Got the same call...  mine was from Keith Morgan along w/ a case number for me to call back to discuss the matter before it was filed in my county of residence.  I didn't call back after reading these posts.. how irrititating.

My call was from Brian Mulligan. I have two hours to call...blah blah blah... He even said that the police chief in my city will be contacting me....THERE ARE NO POLICE CHIEFS IN MY CITY!!!! ha! This is a scam and it too shall pass. I want them to take me to court. They have to prove the debt and they can't. All they have is a bogus number that has been inflated every time it changes hands. Word of advice: DO NOT APPLY FOR CREDIT CARDS YOU CAN'T PAY!!!! Especially credit cards aimed at low income people.
I think I will file a claim on that company and see how they like that.

This is ridiculous, the lady said her name was Jackie Jordan and she called from a private number telling me I have 2 hours to contact this 855 #.  I agree with everyone comments on this. I am just going to change my number!

on friday i received a call from "unknown" like 4 times.. I tried to answer twice and there was no one there. finally about 4:30 someone was on the line when i answered. she told me there were "papers" I had received in the mail. haven't received anything), and she was to "serve" me over the phone. the envelope was "sealed" and she couldn't share any info except a phone #.. she told me to call 855-255-5692. i call and they tell me I have a $780 outstanding online payday loan from 08/2009. I need to pay right then to avoid criminal charges of "attempt to defraud" , etc...He transfers me to the "accounts" dpt. so the lady comes on and says "oh, i talked to the whatever dept. and is like "oh, we can settle today for $580 with $200 down.. I tell her I don't have it, she says to hold.. then comes back and is like "oh we can take $100" to secure the debt. LOL. she is like oh it HAS TO  BE A DEBIT CARD. I tell her I don't have one and she tells me to get a prepaid and call back asap. she tried to tell me there were "charges pending" and they are on hold until i pay the down payment or they are going to process them and I will be arrested.

"Cops" don't accompany process servers. You are a liar. This site must sure be making it hard for you to trick people out od money on the phone!

they also said there where charges against me, how would i look myself up?

When I called, I get the same "corporate office" recording. No name.

Jack - I call BS.  You got nothing in writing to begin with giving the opportunity to dispute the debt, etc...I am very well aware of the fact that bottom feeding low life collectors post on this board and pretend to be a debter in order to scare people into giving it up.

I got a call from a withheld number on 8/5/11.  Some lady named Jamie saying she needed to talk to me to discuss a legal matter in my county of residence.  I called back the number left, which was 855-630-9823, twice that day, and both times it rang nearly a dozen times without an answer.

The company, LLDE, is near impossible to find any information on, and this whole thing smells strongly of a scam.

someone called my fathers business from this number today .... my employee answered they asked for me or my father then he told the caller that we were not available and started some speech about us being taken to court ! LOL ... thank god I googled this number ... low and behold I saw all these posts ! ... what a bunch of scumbags! During these bad times these losers are trying to rip off people.. I called the number back and informed them if I see their number one more time on my caller id I will have our lawyer call back! He got super defensive... told him . buddy google your number and see what comes up and just hung up ! ... and yes unless people are morons gimme a break these posts here about being actually served have to be 100 percent bs! its the collectors themselves posting or lemme rephrase that its the ( con artists) posting

Received a called on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 @ 9:55AM (EST) from this number 855-630-9823 claiming I was being sued and they wanted to speak to me before they file the case at Bronx County court house. REALLY.

These idiots called my ex-wife of 18 years telling her that they were going to serve papers on me and needed my contact info.
What a bunch of dumb [***].
I didn't call them from my own phone, I called from a pay-phone..
No way for them to contact me without caller ID.
Anyway, this is a scam to the max. They try to scare you into paying.
And like I told the jerk, if you have papers, they would be issued from my state's court,,not a Florida court...
I really hope people don't fall for this and don't give them any kind of info..
If they are legit,,they will have all your info in front of them..
Make them tell you who you are..

has any1 gave them any money as a down payment or whatever...cause my dumba** sent them $150....i put a claim in with my bank to get it back...has anyone on here got their money back???

The same exact situation happened to me that happened to Dub. I've had to do a lot of foot work and finding that nobody is owning the account just going around in circles. LLD is no doubt a scam! They want to serve me, so bring it! I will sue them for harrasment under violation of the fair credit reporting act. They are very threatining and forceful when you speak to them and expect for you to give them updated personal information as well as give them double of what the debt is that shows up on your credit report. I found out that this account with HSBC is not an account I opened, someone fraudualantly opened the account in my name. I will be filing a police report and have reported it to HSBC as fraud. I did contact LLD and inform them that I do not owe that money as it is fraud and that I did not open that account. Man, she didn't expect that coming! She told me she wanted a copy of the police report. She doesn't need that! That just has my personal info on it as well as the claim against a charge that they are suing me for. Why would I give them a copy of that? Watch out for these guys they are pretty tough. Just hang up on them and have their number blocked!

Got a call from these d-bags saying they need to schedule a service or legal papers. I work for a law firm so I checked to see if a suit has been filed against me. Nope. Nothing. Zero. They have to file the complaint and THEN serve me. Don't let them scare you!!!

Same thing here! Process servers have a job to do. They don't fire off warning calls!

This company has been calling me for a while now.  They have been calling on an account that I did have that was delinquent.  I thought it was real especially since they were threatening taking me to court and i paid them a large amount of money just today.  WHAT THE HELL DO I DO NOW!?????!
