unwanted phone calls are very annoying from 8556409943

Have been getting voicemails from 855-6409943 recently. Sounds computer generated but is a man's voice telling me there is fraudulant activity on my phone and back account and I must call immediately to correct the situation.

Just got a call too from (855) 640-9943 saying that there has been fraudulent activity on my checking account so I called my bank and they said NO legitimate customer service call from a bank would begin with (855) area code... only (800) or (866); just another scam

Same happened on both of my phone numbers yesterday.
They identified themselves in the recording as Great Arrow Check Services (or maybe it was "Gray" Arrow).
They said there was "fraudulent activity" on my checking account.
There isn't.

Called the number and asked who they were, and they immediately hung up!
Phishy!!!

Someone named Danielle called and left a VM on my phone threatening that charges are pending if no response in the next 48 hours. My daughter in law received the same message. They were actually trying to reach my daughter but never even dialed her number. I called Danielle back to let her know that she left a very private message on my phone and I was not the person she needed. She got very defensive and continued to talk over me. I had my daughter call once she got home from work. My daughter got the same type of rude, nasty behavior from Danielle so she ask to speak with a supervisor. It got even worse. Once again threats and even said I'll be laughing when they show up at your job and take you away in handcuffs. My daughter said she would have an attorney call him. He then stated that he leaves in 20 minutes and he would be expediting her files to the courts at the end of his shift. My daughter said what happened to the 48 hours Danielle spoke of. He informed her that since she felt it necessary to speak to a supervisor then that voids the 48 hrs offer. We called the bank that supposedly was involved and they informed my daughter that they thought it was a scam. They had no record of any issues with my daughter.

Also rec'd a call from them about 6 weeks prior to the above incident. She used the name Ashley Jones.

You were right to be wary of that phone call, it is a scam. Also tell your daughter to put fraud alerts on her credit reports just in case they have her social security number and watch her checking accounts as well. These people will do anything to steal money so it is best to be safe guarded against them.

I have received a phone call from this number twice. Both times a computer generated voicemail has been left stating that there is fraudulent activity "connected to my phone number and bank account." I am very aware that this not the case. I would say that it is a scam but I have not tried to call the number back.

I got a call from this number that saying I had fraudulent check activity linked to my bank account and my phone number.  I called back and it was to something that happened years ago about a payday loan and wanted my debit card number or he was going to serve me with a summons at my job.  He said they had left me voice mails since May.  I haven't gotten anything.  He told me either pay the money or get a criminal attorney.  I don't give out any of my private information over the phone to people I do not know, especially if I have not received any information.  I always check the numbers after I get off of the phone with them.  He then said he would do a settlement with me.  It is very sad about these scams when people try to do the right thing and take care of their business.

Got a call from these people.  I recently recieved calls from another nutcase company.  So I picked up but muted my phone.  She started talking and asking if anyone was there or if I was a 'mute' and didn't have the guts to talk to her.  She then mumbled something under her breath but i was able to pick out 'get this arrest warrant out'.  Haha people are such scam artist.

Do not respond to these scammers.  Someone different calls every time, saying they are from the "sheriff's office" and we need to call back before 5 pm regarding "check fraud", or "be ready with your identification because we are coming out to summon you."  It is a pure crock and these scare tactics are clearly illegal.

These clowns called me and I started making calls myself.  When I called them back and asked what their company name was, they refused to answer and hung up.  He didn't even know one of his co crooks had given me a company name

I just received yet ANOTHER call from this number, they just won't stop. I refuse to have to change my number because people want to attempt to make a cheap dollar. I requested they validate this said 5/3 bank account I had (supposedly in default to a different sum every time I receive a phone call) She claimed she did validate when she read back my address.

Obviously these real debt collectors really know their stuff.

These guys called me, got rude refused to give me any information.  Even tried to threaten me. Tough guys behind a phone and keyboard.  Any info they did finally give they continued to contradict themselves, pure idiots.

My mom just received a called from this number asking for me.  I immediately knew it was not legit since no one should be calling me at my mom's number.  I called back a "Mrs. Lopez" who would NOT tell me what the company was about, and got very rude and threatened me to contact her "lawyer" for some apparent debt I have with them.  HAHAHA what a story.  What a waste of my time.   I clearly told her not to call me or my mom again.

Received a recorded call from this phone number stating that there had been fraudulent activity on my phone number and bank account.

This really seems like a scam to me. I wish there was a phishing category to choose from below!

I have the joy of these two males calling me and threatening me with a warrant and all this crap. Very unprofessional and abviously a scam. None of there information matches. They called under the name Charles one time while chomping on food continued to ridicule me. The debt they say is from FTB... I only can come up with fifth third bank from the letters which I did have a account which was closed with a neg balance. Like a hundered bucks or so. But there claiming I owe thousands of dollars and I can settle it for 1000... Or there suing me and having felony warrants issued for me and what not. I'm currently tracking down the company whom has my account from fifth third. It was transfered to three different places and I'm waiting  for a return call from the last place I called.  I don't have the nerves or time to deal with these types of people. The economy suck, everyone's hurting g, GO GET A JOB and stop scamming the working folks. We aren't doing good either, most of us live week to week as we WORK so we can pay our bills. Some just get put off a little longer then others.

855-640-9943 is the number I'm given to call back to great arrow check services.....When they call its usually a blocked call... There rude and very verbally assaulting. Each time its a different balance... Eachtime its insults and threats of lawsuits and arrest warrants... I'm going to see my UAW legal services tomorrow and this will be looked into by my attorney.. Given if this debt is legit and things pan out, my sole I tent is to satisfy the debt anyway but the u professional tactics and threats, now this is where I have a problem. Not to mention the adress given for this company in Jacksonville Florida is in from of a hotel or semi truck stop..  No buildings around that could even be a office or anything.. Its to fishy for me to send them a grand... Like I said I'm tracking down my account with fifth third bank and I'll take care of it but if it turns out this great arrow is a collection agency using these illegal scare tactics, my Uaw attorney will be adressing the matter.

I am reporting I did trace my account to the holder and they know nothing of this great arrow check services phone number 855 6409943... So when they called again today I confronted them on this and they wanted to argue with me so I gave them the name and number to the account rep that I satisfied the debt with and told him to conferrance call him now.. Of course I was hung up on after being placed on hold. People if your receiving any contact from this place Mr. Kay.. Charles... And you are given this number to call back to BE VERY WEARY. THEY TRIED TO COLLECT A DEBT FROM ME FOR 1000 MORE THEN THE DEBT WAS AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO THE ACCOUNT. It could be a in home collection agency l, that I dunno but if they are  they surly are unprofessional and rude. But nothing adds up with them, the amounts are all a different amount and I spoke to the same voice two diff times and guess what, he had a diff name each time. I'd advise you to start with the original creditor and trace the numbers they give you to where your account was sent to until you find the account. DONT PAY THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY but  take care of your debt.. Most places offer settlements and payment plans.. Good luck to you all and god bless..
