OK this great arrow company is a contracted company for Huntington. Huntington had my account at one point and hired these idiots to collect but didn't realize the account was sent back to the previous agency whom we settled the account with. The rep at Huntington  was extremely angry about the way great arrow was treating us. I just wanted to update you all, great arrow is a contracted collection agency but are UNPROFESSIONAL and use illegal scare tactics and also tried to settle my account for a thousand dollars more then the charge off was.. I'd suggest you start with the original creditor and trace your account back to who ever has it and settle with that said company. I would NEVER PAY GREAT ARROW A PENNY.  Again good luck and god bless.

My son received this exact message and he has never lived with me at this phone number.

Today got a vm message on my cell phone and when I called back a Mr Price was on the line stating that I had fraudulent activity on my checking account. Funny I have not had a checking acct for years also a voice mail message was left on my home phone stating the same. when I returned the call back number given of 855-640-9943 no one answered. what a bunch of low lifes get a real job.

the  same people called me last week  about a check i hope they catch up with these scammers soon

I got a private/blocked call intended for my husband from a Danielle. Is this a legit scam? Has anyone decided for sure?

These people have been trying to contact me for months but I never call them back. Funny do they know I filed Chapter 7 2months ago???!! Good luck with that...discharge should take place hopefully in a few months. Atty said they are not legit and there were no creditors to answer to through my trustee so good luck getting anything from me. I know my rights and what they are doing is wrong. There are federal guidelines to collecting a debt and they are not doing any of them. Atty general is next to be contacted until then...karma!

This number calls my work number about once a week. (They call the numbers of other employee phones as well in various departments, at various levels within the company, so totally random.)  When I hear it is a robo-call (which is ILLEGAL), I hang up.  However, today I went ahead and answered and it was the automated voice that states the same scam message others have complained about above regarding fraudulent bank activity and was also a feature on our local news last week.  (They have been getting the same calls at the TV station.)  Anyway, it said to speak to a representative press 8, so I did, but only to adivse this was a business phone and they need to stop calling this number with their scam.  The lady on the other end screammed in the phone "I will NEVER stop calling this number" and hung up.  Idiots.

Do not give them any money!! This is fraud and they're breaking the law!!!

Thank you for contacting the Attorney General’s Office.  This appears to be part of a “payday loan scam” that has been going on for a some time now.  The Federal Trade Commission is investigating as well as our office and other states.  Unfortunately, callers who are trying to scam consumers do not purchase the No Call List and, of course, show little regard for any law. Although providing a phone number is often helpful, we sometimes find that the displayed number is invalid and untraceable.  In this day of advanced technology, telephone numbers may be “spoofed” (i.e., faked) to appear on caller IDs to be a legitimate phone number, yet the call is originating from a different location that cannot be determined.  Even the telephone companies are struggling with this “spoofing” problem.  Also, scammers may purchase a “tracfone (prepaid)” phones that do not require any type of registration and therefore cannot be traced to an individual.

I have been receiving numerous calls from 855 840 9943.concerning my brother.  I would really like for these to stop.

I called this number back and they refused to send me any information by mail so i can take care of this matter.  They say they don't have to but wanted me to make a payment over the phone and told me it's not a fraud if they know all my information and ss number but i refused to do so until i received information by mail.  Daniel Powers is the one leaving messages and when i called back the number I spoke w a Mr. John. John being his last name.  He told me he will have to take further action and I told him to do what he needs to until he sends me anything by mail them he will have to.  It's [***], so if anyone else gets these calls don't pay until you know whats its for.  I know I will not send money to anyone that can't show me where i messed up!  AMEN.  People need help in this world to do things right if they r a company just trying to get their money thats owed to them.  I know if i owe its off to work i go and i would pay only what i know i owe!!!!!!!!!  

I received a prerecorded message telling me to return this phone number 1-855-640-9943, so I returned their call, the person who answered the phone did not provide his name to me, I said I had a message to return this call, so he typed my phone number into the system and asked for my ex-boyfriend.  I explained to the man that he has the wrong number, this person told me he did not have the wrong number and that he wanted to speak with my ex, I told him that he does not live here anymore, which I was told he does and I should stop lying, ok, so he is telling me I don't know who lives in my house.  He then wanted my ex's phone number, I told him I don't have it since I kept his cell phone when he left, I have no need to contact my ex, again I was lying.  Well, I was all done listening to this, I hung up on the guy and when he called back it went right to voicemail, no message left.  

I received a call from this  number today. He said that I was under investigation because of a payday loan which caused an issue with my previous bank. I didn't give them any information but then knew the last 4 digits of my social and which payday service I had gone through. I  told them that if they could email me with proof of who they are, I would be happy to give them information .. Then he threatened me with court and hung up.

I recieved a call too.  From Agent Murphy regarding bad checks.  One of my coworkers answered the phone and instead of leaving her name and number she stated that she was calling regarding bad checks of mine that were in her office.

also if this was true that i submitted bad checks i would think that Agent Murphy will be a bit more professional by not stating the nature of the call.  just her returned number
