No don't send them anything!!! if you want to pay your debt back go directly through the complany that you used, nine time outta 10 they will let you know that they don't outsource your information like that to a third party and more than likely you can go directly through them. Those people don't pay the company they claim to represent, I got scamed like that before it's terriable they are theives don't send them anything and ask for information in writing before you pay anything once they get your account info it's over so beware.

I was getting scam calls and I took out over 3 payday loans. I had no clue who or what I should pay. so i went through a debt consolidation program they didnt charge me up front and trusted me to pay and started calling my lenders. to stop all the harassing calls and threats. try a debt management company who will not scam you and charge up front fees www.bcspaydayloanrelief.com

They ended up canceling all debt because they knew they could be in big legal trouble.

They have to be in the state in order to do that, and in Texas, they have to be able to work here as well. I've contacted a few government contacts and they don't have any legal right to be here in Texas. A process server will only serve papers in the states that they are licensed. The only time papers are served out of state is if it's an out of state warrant for arrest or request by that states court for you to appear.

got a call from AFB 866-595-3173 on my cell phone from a Sky Lawrie. She stated that a civil judgement has already been filed but I've checked with many government agencies and found out that they aren't even able to do business in texas without a bond. If they really want to try and serve me papers in the state of Texas, I'll take them to the State Attorney Generals office for prosecution is illegal collection practices.

If you wish to resolve or dispute any allegations to avoid appearing in your local Travis County Court, then  you must contact me back immediately 866-595-3173. My direct extension is 177. Again Jennifer Weiss social security number ending in 5171, you have been officially notified.

Hello I rec'd a call from 855 420 2623 saying they are AFB Associates and have an affidavit about something but won't tell me what it's for but he is going to sign off on it until he speaks with me or my atty before sending to my county courthouse.... is this legit?

I got a call from AFB but the number that they used was 855-595-2541. Are they scam artists because they say I have debt to pay and that they will take me to court if I don't pay. They also want my debit card number.

they are a third party debt collector trying to scare you into paying a debt they bought pennies on the dollar, they can not serve you or sue you or even post to your credit because they do not have bonds or licences, they are full of themselves do not give them any info on the phone

Knowledge of debt collection law clearly isn't your strong point. This bottom-feeding scam company is violating the FDCPA right and left. Even if these posters did take out a loan, the collection tactics described are illegal, which means they are not obligated to pay these scammers.

i sent one before.. but i am reading my granddaughters story with audibon and cash net.. cashnet told me audibon was a scam.. not utilized by cashnet and gave me links to ftc and others.. i contacted a number in virginia law firm that helps the poor and has a hot line.. they said  casdhnet is nota payday loan, however they do not adhere to viginias strict regulations and therefore not required to paqy..

I keep receiving calls from AFB. I never answer, but then again, I screen all my calls. They call 10 times a day, leaving messages stating that I am being evasive and the claim will be signed over at the end of business day and garnish my wages. Lil do they know I do not work? I am a full-time mother, and they can keep blowing up my voicemail because my lawyer is already on it. Avoid AFB at all cost; it's nothing but a scam.

So what ever happened with this?

I received a phone call from a Kelli with AFB & Associates (aka AUDOBON FINANCIAL).  Most unprofessional message ever.  This is after receiving a "cease communication" letter to which someone signed for because I did Cert Mail with return receipt.  So I know they received it.  She stated and I quote: My name is Kelly with AFB & Associates and we have been notified by ?????? County about a case they have complaining.....she giggles and says complaining again and hangs up.

Funny if my County had a case against me they wouldn't have sent it to a collection company.

Funny when you call Audobon Financial Services which is who this is you can't speak to anyone because supposedly they are too busy to take a phone call (why are they too busy scamming people?).  Tells you to leave a message - I think not! Dumb [***]!

AFB & Associates threatened to send me to jail threatened my friends and family revieled the debt to friends and family also called my work threateneing to arrest me at my place of employment. Real scammers dont give these guys any money you will not ever see it again and the debt will just get passed to the next slime ball.

They are a scam!!!! I actually paid them $800 they said I owed luckily I when I went to my bank and told them what happened and the bank told me what just are doing is illegal and I got my money back ( thank  u fraud protection).. They guy on the phone said they were sending papers to my county courthouse and I will be sued an this and that!! All illegal!!! The worst part is he left all th info on my voicemail and my dads voicemail which is very illegal!! Don't give in! It's a scam!!!
