I didn't answer it but I called back and that's what it said and went on about how I can pay them online.... I don't have freedom Mortgage so I'm thinking it's a Telemarketer.- Caller: Freedom Mortgage
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Rudolph| 2 repliesNo - not a telemarketer. It is really Freedom Mortgage at 855-690-5900. We just got a mortgage them and they called. Maybe your call was a wrong number....don't know how that would happen. I would call them and get your phone number removed.

- Real CallIt's Freedom Mortgage. They recently acquired my mortgage and were doing a "Welcome Call" to confirm that the information they had on file was all correct.

- Tiffany Montano replies to Deseree| 1 replyYour mortgage company may have sold the mortgage to Freedom. I had New Day Financial and they did. However you should have been notified by your current mortgage carrier. I would call them.
- Alan in IowaSaw from the previous note that it may have been Freedom Mortgage doing a welcome call, since our mortgage was recently sold to them. However their was no one there when we answered.

- ACMI have been dealing with this crap company for over a year and am sick of it. They constantly call and email about refinancing. They shut down portions of their payment site at night so that you can't make a payment. They promised a fast refinance process and it took over three months. I say run as fast and as far as you can if you are not already stuck with this company.

- val replies to TXGuy| 1 replyWe recently purchased a new home and they bought our mortgage. I tried for a year to use their online payment system. I got it to work exactly once!!! It is so frustrating!! We have several properties with mortgages with other companies and have never, ever had an issue with making online payments. They are ridiculous! I have resorted to paying them through my banks online bill pay system but they still call me all the time.
- Chez replies to valThey may call it courtesy calls or reminder calls or refinancing requests but the bottom line it falls under (UDAAP) Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts Practices committed by predatory businesses. All is covered within the Dodd Frank Act and the FTC's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). You need to send your mortgage servicer Freedom Mortgage a demand for cease and desist (certified return receipt) on calls that you view as UDAAP. You should also file a complaint with the CFPB about their business practices.
- AnonymousSame crap... Freedom Mortgage... Ask they say in the vm is "Please give us a call back" I've tried to be removed from their solicitation list but it never works... Annoying as Hell getting 2 calls minimum a day
- Caller: Freedom Mortgage
- MandyIt's more than likely Freedom Mortgage. My father in law passed away a year ago and they continuously call looking for money.
- MFC| 2 repliesI didn't recognize the number. I picked it up without saying a word. Nobody on the other line said a word either and they finally hung up. No message left and I didn't call them back. Now I see it is Freedom Mortgage which just bought our mortgage from Pacific Union Financial. After reading the responses here, I'm not so thrilled to be under them. Thankfully, we only have another 15 months to have our mortgage paid off.
- MarcWe have one mortgage with them. They have been told MULTIPLE times to stop calling for re-finance or other methods to take cash out of home value. They continue to call from multiple numbers. We have now to decided block ALL their calls. If they want to reach us for legitimate reasons, they have both mailing and email addresses.

- Really?Received a door tag with my house number written at the bottom and a typed up piece of paper stating Urgent notice to contact my mortgage servicer with the #855-690-5900, I don't have a mortgage with Freedom Mortgage called them and they deny that this is from them.
- Alex PWell, I got 3 calls from them, and each time they asked for a different person, so it is a scam.
