Company calling itself H.W.C. sending out postcards about loans that do not exist. Beware...

Scam.  Yellow postcard with this phone number about a loan I don't have.

They send us bright yellow post cards on the regular, claiming it's an important matter regarding our home loan that's "time sensitive". A tiny note in the corner says "All information provided by H.W.C, 855-715-1657. Not affiliated with, sponsored by, and loan information not provided by your current lender."

Hopefully state attorneys general will crack down on predatory lending companies such as this mailing out deceptive yellow postcards. Our mortgage is paid off and no need to send us SCAM garbage in the mail

Recieved same mailing as others as shown. FTC needs to do something about all the scams out there. I plan to block the number & contact FTC about the mailings.

I received this bright yellow postcard as an important notice claiming information needed on the closing on my mortgage loan with them. I called the number just to find out more about it, answering screening system requested from me to enter Mortgage ID #, my personal information, so right there, and then I hang up. Scam!

BIG SCAM!

I also received this post card today.  I thought it is scam by the first time I looked in to it.  Just wanted to verify and yes the corresponding authorities should stop these type of scammers.

Received the same yellow postcard, same "important matter" message, same disclaimer for my current mortgage company. Definitely a scam attack!

Same as all the others. Yellow card, referencing a legit mortgage I closed on. They obviously comb the public records to target people, and make it sound like an urgent matter.

Scum of the earth company. They earn their living by lies.

The same as every one else. I do not even have a mortgage but have an open line of credit never used, with a zero balance.. so thanks Republic Bank for not securing my information correctly and allowing scam mortgage loan companies to send me this garbage and call me.

Received same yellow card, with my closed mortgage number in plain view, addressed to my husband and I by our first names.....no last name.     Low life scums!

Just got a pink postcard with same notice on it. Postcard had my full name and new address on it. Said to call this number. Time sensitive. Total scam.

Same yellow postcard...went right in the shredder.

I'm really disappointed. My card was pink. I was tempted to call them and ask why I didn't get a yellow card, but my wife said they probably just ran out of the yellow. Very disappointing. (it's humor, people...).

Thanks for heads up but guess what?  They've changed the postcards to pink.
