What kind of company is Ibex? What service is your office happy with? Why would they need your information to sign up your office?

Either it was a goat (ibex) or it was a scammer (ibex global tech support scam). I'd place my bet its not a goat...lol

I would go file an Identity Theft report.

Steps to take if Identity Theft is suspected:
    1. Put a fraud alert on your credit reports by contacting one of these credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion).
    – Experian: https://www.experian.com/freeze/center.html
    – Equifax: https://www.freeze.equifax.com/Freeze/jsp/SFF_PersonalIDInfo.jsp
    – TransUnion: https://freeze.transunion.com/sf/securityFreeze/landingPage.jsp
    2. Contact any institution directly affected Bank or Store that issued the credit or debit.
    3. Contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) File an Identity Theft Affidavit and a police report  and create an Identity Theft Report.
    4. File a police report. To complete the Identity Theft Report, you’ll need to contact your local law enforcement office and report the theft.
    5.  Protect your Social Security number  If your social security number was or may have been compromised, contact the Social Security Administration (800-269-0271) and the Internal Revenue Service (800-829-0433).

For more information about how to prevent or recover from identity theft, the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission offer a wealth of information and will walk you through the steps.

You pay for your phone. It is not for entrance into your life. Would you want somebody to knock on your door and come in hour home and tell you he has a great proposition for you. Your phone is your property and so is your connection and if you want to answer sales calls but I prefer looking online for that which I want to buy and contact the seller of my choice at the time I want. Does that make sense?

He called our work phone number. I was surprised it was someone at T-Mobile. I have the service and have been having issues recently, so I thought I may stay on the line to understand why they were calling. The person tried to give me a free phone with a new line, after I told him I was having issues with service. He asked for the name on the account and phone number associated. I told him that I would rather have the service issue fixed and may go into my local office to get it handled. He then contended that all he wanted was a name and phone number not my social security number or address, so I repeated I would go into my local branch before ending the call. Before the call ended he mentioned that we were on a recorded line, which was not mentioned at the beginning. Very odd call.
