This number is NOT legit. Phillip Schultz with "Integrity management" made me believe I needed to make payments to them for a pay day loan that I hadn't paid, but I did pay it off. Then they try calling me later as a different company "VP Mediation Services" and it was a different person asking for a larger amount. They were rude to me and hung up in my face. Luckily my bank was able to give me all the money they had been taking out without my consent! If these people call do NOT answer. They also called me at 855-760-8955 it's a total scam and my bank and I are prosecuting!!!!!

New Variation on Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

02/21/12—The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) continues to receive complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. As previously reported
in December 2010, the typical payday loan scam involves a caller who claims the victim is delinquent on a payday loan and must make payment to avoid legal consequences.

Callers pose as representatives of the FBI, “Federal Legislative Department,” various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies and claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, or other Internet check-cashing services. The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment in attempts to obtain payment. The callers refuse to provide information regarding the alleged payday loan or any documentation and become verbally abusive when questioned.

The IC3 has observed variations of this scam in which the caller tells the victim that there are outstanding warrants for the victim’s arrest. The caller claims that the basis of the warrants is non-payment of the underlying loan and/or hacking. If it’s the latter, the caller tells the victim that he or she is wanted for hacking into a business’ computer system to steal customer information. The caller will then demand payment via debit/credit card; in other cases, the caller further instructs victims to obtain a prepaid card to cover the payment.

The high-pressure collection tactics used by the fraudsters have also evolved. In one recent complaint, a person posed as a process server and appeared at the victim’s job. In another instance, a phony process server came to a victim’s home. In both cases, after claiming to be serving a court summons, the alleged process server said the victim could avoid going to court if he or she provided a debit card number for repayment of the loan.

If you are contacted by someone who is trying to collect a debt that you do not owe, you should:

    Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger;
    Contact your bank(s) and credit card companies;
Contact the three major credit bureaus and reques

I just received a call from this number and the persons name was Stuart Malon or John Cesares.  This company called me saying my mother who is an elderly woman took out a pay day loan and she owed $1370.00, or they were going to file a legal action against her.  They also said I could settle for $1000.00 as payment in full.  Please be careful with these people as they are fraud.  She never owed on a pay day loan.  The other company that processes the payments is Vantage point Services NY.  Be aware.

Jim or James Royce he goes by both names. He called my family's house and made a threat on April 26 2013 stated that I owe money for Advance America and I dont even live with my parents and wondering how did they find my family looking for me. I was a customer with Advance America years ago and they knew alot of information about me which is pretty messed up without me telling them. They didnt call us from 855-760-8955 but called from 813-677-0912. They told my family if I didnt send money by money gram they would put a warrant out for me and I would be arrested. I called back the following day which was saturday morning April 27 2013 and a woman answered the phone. I dont remember her name. But Stewart Malone is who I talked to on the phone and said the same thing I needed to send the money or I will be arrested. I just wanted to share with you guys that they are calling from the 813-677-0912 trying to scam me and probably others out there from the number I listed. I didnt fall for any of that even though they knew my information to begin with and start trying to contact me.

About 2 weeks ago I got a series of phone calls from 713-481-7321; Vantage Point Collections.  When I called back she claimed to be a detective and passed me off to a Tim Hoffman.  It was a Wednesday and he claimed that I had two felony arrest warrants out for me since Monday and my bail was $35,000.00.  He said that I could always bail myself out for 10% and then I would need a lawyer to plea them down to a misdemeanor and would have to pay the amount I owed anyway.  I asked if there was ANYTHING I could do for this because he claimed that I would have two felonies on my record forever.  After this reality set in, I asked one more time if I could do anything to get out of this and he said, "hold on, I will call the District Attorney and got back on the line.  He said he talked to the Assistant District Attorney and said I had 1 hour to make restitution since I had no record ever, and the "10 day warning letter from them" was sent to an address I lived at 3 years ago under my maiden name from 2010.  Also to my benefit according to them, my past three years were filled with family emergencies like our business closing and my dad coming down with colon cancer, etc.  He would not tell me what county office I had to go to and then said I could pay be credit card or money gram.  I used my father's credit card without his permission because he was at the doctor.  They said they would send me a letter confirming that all charges were dropped.  I never got it so I called them and they would not put me on with Tim Hoffman, and said they already sent the letter.  They also never told me who they were collecting this alleged amount due of $2445.00!  I called the County offices and they said that there were NEVER any warrants against me at any time and that the DA or the ADA would NEVER talk with a collection agency.  The whole thing was a complete scam.  Watch out for these guys and please do your research before you commit to pay anything without proof.

I feel so dumb!!! Well they called me back in Oct 2013 I can't remember the so called attorney's name.. My computer just took a hit and I had all that info on a document her name just escapes my memory. but anyway.. She said that she was taking out a 2 felony warrants on me for fraud on a payday load I never paid back in 2009. I told her she was mistaken I did pay that loan off. she said her records indicated it didn't and she was prepared to file the warrants that day if I did not pay the settlement of 600.0 to them. Well being very scared and knowing I didn't have the bank account anymore that showed I paid the loan off I agreed. Well they have so far taken 375.00 of the 600.00 and today I decided to call them to get the arrangement changed for my last two payments b/c Christmas is coming I googled the name Vantage Point so I could get their phone number and low and behold I see all this stuff about scams. I did think it was strange that they could put fraud charges on me but like I said I didn't have proof that I paid the loan off so I was scared. Well I called Walmart Money card cust service told them this company was a scam and to please dispute the charges and issue me a new card. I don't know if I will ever see the money back they took from me but I know I feel like an idiot after researching the fact they never could have taken out charges. I feel. so stupid. I been struggling wit that money being taken every two weeks and now it's gone!!! I hope this company get's taken down!! My only regret is I did the payment arrangements with Docu Sign. I hope that I can recover my losses but if I can't I just pray these people will NEVER bother me again. I am going to talk to the Bank I had and see if I can get proof that payday load was paid. I asked the lady that day if she could wait for me to get proof and she was very rude and yelled and me and told me she didn't care what I could prove in the future that right now she would take out a warrant if I didn't agree to pay. this ppl need to be shut down!!! I pray no one goes through this without researching first like I should have done!!!

Just some background information for you all...

This company is an illegal payday loan collection agency, the lowest of the low. They say they are working with the State, the government, and law enforcement. They are not. The government has much more important things to do than call people who owe a couple hundred bucks on a payday loan! Also, they say there is felony warrant out for your arrest. Again not true. Payday loans are a civil matter, not criminal. YOU CANNOT BE ARRESTED FOR NOT PAYING THEM! They will try to scare you by telling you to Google "writing worthless checks". You can be arrested for fraud by writing fraudulent checks on purpose, but that has nothing to do with taking out a loan and failing to pay it back! While you're on Google, look up FDCPA. It is a set of laws all debt collectors have to follow. They cannot harass you, threaten you, or impersonate law enforcement officers. They break almost every law of collections. Again they will try to tell you they are with the government, but that is simply not true. Call your local government, they will tell you that company is a scam. Also, if you really had a warrant out for your arrest, you can call your local police department and they can tell you if you have a warrant out for you.

They rely on people not knowing their rights when it comes to debt collections. They will threaten you and try to scare you into paying them by saying you are going to be arrested. Please people don't fall for this! Nothing will happen!

Best thing to do is either ignore them all together, or call an attorney who sues illegal debt collectors. There are tons of attorneys who go after debt collectors due to the emergence of these illegal agencies. You can sue them and win up to $10,000! You just have to record their calls with them breaking all the laws. My friends mother was contacted by a similar agency who was doing the same thing. I helped her through it and she was able to sue them for $10,000.

So if these people call you, save all voicemails, contact an attorney who specializes in suing debt collectors, and don't become another victim of this horrible scam that is becoming so prevalent.

This is a total scam.  This is typical of these [***].   They constantly threaten people with jail over civil debts.   You cannot be arrested for ordinary civil debts.   They also threaten so called "warrants" to be issued.  This is also nonsense.   Arrest  warrants are only issued by judges based on application by DULY CONSTITUTED LAW ENFORCEMENT people upon probable  cause that the person named has committed the crime.  They are only issued to law enforcement and are served by members of law enforcement.  Debt collectors have no power of arrest and no influence on law enforcement.

Ignore them.  Do not return their calls. Block their calls.   There are no warrants and nobody is going to jail on civil debts.

Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know

If you have received a call stating:

    1. You have defrauded a financial institution
    2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
    3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
    5. You will receive a court summons
    6.  Authorities are coming to arrest you
    7.  Anything similar to above,
     a.   Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
     b.   Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are   filing a complaint with the  appropriate authorities
    * File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage     http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
    * File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).

They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.

Did you let them access your computer remotely?

If you did, they probably did one or more of the following:
    • Disabled the anti-virus software
    • Added nasty malware to the computer
    • Copied the Contact List (so they can spam/email your soon-to-be ex-friends)
    • Copied any financial data or passwords they could find
    • Compromised your ID
    • "Zombied" the computer, so it would respond to THEIR commands sent via internet
    • Deleted some important files
    • Asked for money to repair the damage they caused

What can you do immediately after such an attack?
    1.  Pull the cables on the computer, or otherwise disable it, so it cannot access the internet.
    2.  Change ALL  passwords stored on the computer.
    3.  Run FULL malware scans on the computer, in "SAFE" mode!
    4.  Change the passwords again, particularly if the malware scans showed anything.
    5.  Inform your bank and credit card companies.
    6.  Sign up for credit monitoring, and check the status frequently
    7.  You may have to bring the computer to a local repair shop, and tell them the story.
    8.  Tell friends what happened, so they can be aware of strange emails from you.
    9.  Connect to the internet only AFTER all the above have been done.
    10.  Change the passwords on all online accounts.  Even better - access a "safe", uninfected  computer, and change your online account passwords RIGHT NOW.

    NOTE:
If your computer set a "Restore Point" while it was infected, any "System Restore" you make will re-infect your computer.  Suggest you delete any potentially infected restore points and avoid setting such restore points until after your computer has been thoroughly cleaned!

You fell for one scam, and might be susceptible to others mentioned on this site:
    http://phonehelp.2truth.com/facts.html
Read that info to educate and help protect yourself!

Honest computer companies do NOT cold-call people, or cause popups from websites to tell them their computers need fixing!

Some scammers even have websites, and falsely advertise they are associated with popular software packages or computer companies; so do NOT believe a "we will fix your computer remotely" site, and allow them access to your computer!

Read the info at these links.

    Lesson:
If your computer needs fixing, bring it to a local repair shop

    Angry Relative replies to Slim
They did this to one of my family members. Luckily they informed me in time, and they didn't lose any money. They actually sent FedEx to their house to pick up a check.

I had contacted them before confirming they were fake through Comcast. They wouldn't give me a website unless i provided them with a first and last name, then they gave me some random .info website. They only accept check or money order. When I asked what they do if they don't receive payments, they say nothing, it's just how they do business, and they are usually payed because they do good work. What BS. It makes me so angry that they get away with things like this.

I did not actually get a call from this #, but the caller(s) who scammed me left this # to call on my ComCast Voicemail. Like Angry Relative above, they scammed me by a fake (spoofed) number representing Quicken Support (I Googled it). They got remote access, showed me I was infected with a Trojan & was missing files from my Quicken, then passed me off to another alleged company who would fix my computer for $399. They mysteriously picked up the chat session I was on with "Quicken". Their company is allegedly TECH CREW out of Iowa, but there is no listing of their telephone # online - just a BBB complaint. The two numbers I got (one from the "Cisco Certified supervisor") turned out to be bogus (found it on these reverse lookup sites) never called it - but the scammer who was in my computer called back 9 times in like 3 hours - also a hot # on these caller ID lists. BEWARE and don't ever trust anyone to do a remote session on your PC - I was dumb and fell for it, now the fun begins contacting all the agencies to do damage control. They wanted payment via an eCheck . . . i gave them the info, but then realized I'd been had and ran down to my bank and changed accounts (closed the current). They did not get any money, but probably have all my personal & financial data.
