Caller said they were from Microsoft and my computer was hacked but he can fix it.  Wanted control of my computer.  Wanted $800!!!  This is a SCAM!!!!

My computer has a message that says error code:XFUI23489 & wants me to call their help desk. "Error message: Windows failed to find security tools on this computer, Security may be compromised. We strongly advise you call the help desk befor using this computer. 1-855-776-6909." I now cannot get my computer to work!

I am experiencing the exact same situation.. Your end result?  I'm not sure what to do

Same is happening to me,

I contacted Microsoft directly, got on the chat line, they is established communicate with my computer cleared it all out, so it was a virus, computer working fine, didn't charge a cent.

I went to support.Microsoft.com/help, and they were able to assist me. It took about an hour and a half but they cleared out the virus and my computer is working fine. No charge for the tech support

He keeps calling back from "unknown" number now. He called back 3 times when I was online with Microsoft trying to fix problem. He said Microsoft was the SCAM, and they arent really Microsoft. And let him help. I finally had to yell at the guy and cuss him out a few times. Very annoying!

Microsoft can help. Very good at walking you through process.

It's now been 3 days and he called back. He asked for my mother. I asked "Who is this?" He said a friend. I told him I knew who he was and that I filled a report with Microsoft. He said, So what? What are they going to do? Then he got upset with me and asked if I was going to beat him up? I laughed at him and he got more upset. Told him I figured out his hack and fixed it without Microsofts help and that he sucks as a hacker. Needed to get a better job or a better education. He got even more upset and started yelling. Finally I just hung up... What a joke!

I am the writer of last 2 reports. He now just call me from a different number. Here is the number: 1-567-244-4813. Beware! These guys won't stop. But I got news for them... Neither will I.... I'm going to post to as many places as possible. They messed the wrong person this time. It's one thing to mess with me. But they tried to take advantage of my mother. Note to the A_ _holes, you want to play? Lets play!

They attacked my computer

Got a text message from this number saying my card was locked and to call for instructions to resolve the issue.

Don't. Take your computer to a reputable brick and mortar repair shop.

This really does look treacherous!  They spoofed the number of the local Apple Store for caller id, but then left this number to call back, stating that my iCloud security had been breeched.  Problem is, I don't even HAVE an iCloud account!  Do NOT call this number back!!!

Received calls about 6 from this # warning to not use any apple devices with out consulting.

Now they are claiming to be From apple.

This number was just left in a message supposedly from Apple also stating my iCloud account was hacked. The call came from a number listed as a real Apple Store. Thankfully I googled it all first and see it's a scam.
