SCAM.  Got 3 messages from 'Apple Inc' within 2 hours. The recorded message said that they were calling from Apple with a security alert.   I called back the number, already knowing it was a scam.  They said they were online support for Apple.  I asked if they worked for Apple, to which they replied "Yes" .  I asked for their employee ID so that I could check into this they hung up immediately.

caller ID showed "Apple Inc" and "619-682-3477"  and an electronic voice said an iCloud security breach was detected.  Directed to call 855-776-6909 before using iCloud.

Blocked 619-682-3477 and gave a heads up to friends and family to not fall for the scam.

Called from 855-776-6909 and stated that it was Apple, Inc. and that my iCloud had been hacked.  I called 5 times and each time I got someone who could barely speak english and there were dozens of voices in the background.
Last call I told the speaker to shut-up and hung-up.

They just said my Apple ICloud account has been hacked. The number they called on has no reference to my Apple account

They took advantage of my mother, and said they were from Apple. Made her scan 600$ worth of iTunes gift cards to “fix the issue””  thankfully the bank will.  Reimburse her. These Mother F’ers.

Doubtful you will get any refunding from the bank, since scammers cash them in as soon as possible. Once they are used, there is no way to get refunded and its why scammers use iTunes cards as a method to get money.

Received four calls today from this number but we weren't home...how to stop these calls from this and any other spammers is a mystery!!! What a waste....

You could block the number(s) and not worry about them again.

Left voice message. Claimed icloud was compromised on Mac account. Left this as contact number. Caller id showed 914-539-4530, Crooks!

Called ID 914-539-4530.  Same deal as above, claiming my iCloud account is compromised and that I should call the 855 number for support.

Caller called 4 times in one hour saying they were Apple, just after I had left an Apple store where we accessed the Cloud via Apple Store WIFI.

5 calls today from rhis number on my answering machine.
They ask you to call back and ask for a tech.
Bullcrap scam....my computer is not even on.

I did not realize that this is a scam until I read all incidents related to this phone number. Today, I dialed the number but then immediately hung up after reading the incidents.

I have rec'd on my landline 6 calls total so far since yesterday.  CID is Apple, Inc. but all the numbers given to call are actually Apple retail stores here in California (locations are San Diego, Glendale and Northridge stores).  I called two of those numbers and they both were getting numerous calls from the public and had no knowledge of how they are being generated.  Today, I also called the number given by the "robo" person in the message; a woman answered and I told her I was responded to a robo message I received and she just hung up.

Scam call with a spoofed number from a  local Apple Store. Part of the message was cut off but they left the 855 number to call back.

I did not get a call from this number but it was one number that was left in a fake message from Apple I saw on here several numbers that you are supposed to use to call back some other ones are 747-212-5913 and 817-349-6343 the original number that was supposed to be from Apple was 914-539-4530

Called me twice in three hours.  Each time I answered, no one responded.
