It was an automated message saying it was Bell Mobility Collections and to call them back. I don't have a Bell Mobility account... so I am assuming it is a scam of sorts.

"This is a message from Bell Mobility credit and collections department. Please call back at 1 855 811 8340."
Keeps calling from a Private caller leaving this ridiculous msg. I haven't used Bell services in years and never used their mobile service. Even tho it's a recording you can hear a call centre in the background. Someone needs to arrest these morons.

I have been getting these calls daily. I am a Bell Mobility client, but was really suspicioius because I've paid all my bills on time and have a zero balance. I decided to search out this number 855-811-8340, and here I am .

I received the same message claiming to be from Bell. I called Bell using the correct contact number from the Bell.ca (which is 1 800 667-0123)  website to inform them of this problem and they confirmed anyone calling from Bell would be able to provide your info to you. People don't be stupid ! Protect your info and identity and report fraud !

THEY CALL MY BELL CELL PHONE NUMBER  3X DAY IF NO ANSWER THEY LEAVE RECORDED MESSAGE TO CALL 1-855-811-8340  I CALLED AND GOT SOME GUY  AND AFTER I GAVE HIM HELL  HE SAID HE WOULD TRANSFER ME AND HUNG UP!

I'm in the same boat as all of you, i even called this number like a while back and told them they had the wrong person and to stop calling, a lady said ye it must be a wrong number in our database and removed it. A week later im still getting these calls!!!

I just started getting calls from a blocked number to my bell mobility cell phone 3 days ago. I never answer blocked numbers at all in principle. This number keeps getting recorded in my voicemail. Nothing else is said. I did a search for it, and got this site along with a few others.

I received a call yesterday from a "Private Caller". The person on the line told me that she was from Bell Mobility, and she needed, for security reasons, to verify my birthdate, and that she was from collections, and I had an outstanding bill for $1007!!  I called the Bell number from my bill, and my account is paid, and in good standing!! This is a phishing attempt!! Give them no information, and if you have, call Equifax or Trans Union and flag your account immediately, so no one can get credit on your information.  They will put a note on file to ask for more info when applying for credit.  I have since received 4 more calls, with the most recent just now.  I answered and when she said she was from Bell, I just told them that I knew they were a scam, and to loose my number, and if they called again, I would be contacting the Police.  She hung up on me!!  Bell will never ask for any personal info when they call you!!!

Several calls in the last few weeks, and the funny thing is that I've just cancelled the acct about 3 weeks back since we hardly use the cells here anyway because of poor service coverage (I live in a remote area.) This seems to be a scam, but what I can't understand is why this number isn't tracked and the lowlifes taken to task for this harassment.

The call comes EVERY DAY!!!  Problem is we are not Bell customers and never have been!  Any idea how to get these morons to stop calling? We have spoken to actual people when we call the number but they say they are unable to help us because we don't have an account with them!(Duh...)   Why can't these calls be addressed and stopped?  This is nothing short of harassment.

I have been getting the call everyday too I am really frustrated.  I am going to call and yell at them today.

I just called bell mobility and she confirmed that the 855 811 8340 is Bell Corporate accounts.  They are calling me at home so this still seems strange but she said it was legitimate.

"Bell Mobility" calls me several times a day, every day, and asks for my birthdate and address to verify my account.  We called the real Bell and they confirmed they would never ask for that information.  We have filed a police report and are taking it up with the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

I just got a VM saying that Bell Mobility needs to talk to me today.  Interestingly enough, the call shows as a blocked # on my phone, but there was a return # given.  I got this call on my TELUS work cellphone.  I called back and this is a scam by someone supposed called Christopher Wheatman.  Someone please find this moron with no life and stop this nonsense!

This is a legit part of Bell Mobility. Confirmed this after calling Bell Customer Care who said it was a department of Bell Mobility.  It is collections and accounts.

I received a call to 604 922 3184 from Bell Mobility at 7:12AM PDT.  I am not and never have been a Bell Mobility customer.  This number is on the Canadian no call list.
