I got a VM from Sean 914-339-5670 saying I had won several prizes from Average American Survey and that I should call 855-823-1205 to claim the prizes.  I do NOT anticipate returning this call as it sounds like a scammer.

The same exact thing happened to me 914 number called but told me to call 8558231205 back I think it might have something to do with pch.com is that a scam website? I guess I shouldnt call back

Got the same number. They offered a Walmart $40 visa card if I signed up for some $1 for the first month and $19.99 there after for a discount on eating out and more..I hung up..don't give them your credit card number....

Just rec'd call from this number......sounds sketchy.  I won't return it.

I do not want them calling my number, as I have a cell number, and it is costing me money.

Got the same call but when I tried it.  It told me my number was wtong or I was calling from a different phone  but it was that phone.   SCAM

I got a message on my cell saying to call this number but the same thing happened, it told me I was calling from a different phone than the one with which I had registered...(I didn't register with anything).

i got a missed call from this #  855 823 1205.  it said i won several prized and to call this # to see what they are.. am NOT calling... so dont know who or where it was from.

I just got call from 9143395670 number. Got a voice mail telling me to call  855-823-1205 number to claim my prizes. What a joke...

I got this VM from 914-399-5670 saying that I too had just won a variety of prizes and to press 1 to claim my prize. When I was connected to a live person they told me that I won a $100 gas voucher and that I had to have a Visa or Mastercard to claim my prize. I told them that I didnt have one ,even if I do im not going to just give out my account information to some random person.

This is a version of the automatic debit scam as described by the FTC here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel06.shtm  To get your freebie/winnings/whatever, the scammers want your card to charge for shipping but buried in the fine print is authorization to charge your card every billing cycle with bullsh*t difficult-to-cancel subscriptions. Your bank may decline to refund charges even though you were unaware of it. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

Who called me I tried to return the call but couldn't get through call me directly at 813-748-1333

Yeah I just got the same call...funny isn't it..I just told them to just take the dollar out of the free 40 dollar gift card that they are sending me....that didn't work.  they needed me to pay them so they would have my credit card information.  Yeah sure..I'll get right on that

Got a call from an "Unavailable" number.  The message left was "Hi this message is intended for amanda xxxxxx I'm calling in reference to a complaint thats been forwarded to out office theres also questions regarding the property address on xxxxxxx drive to discuss pending actions taking place you please contact the firm concerning the matter immediatly at 855-823-2659 and reference claim number 5xxxxxx"

Sorry you cant leave the company name nor call from a number that is not blocked then there is no need for me to call you back.  If you were truly l;egit you would know that any property on xxxxxx drive is not in my name as i have no property in my name.

Try calling from an unblocked legit number and leaving more information about the business you are calling from and then maybe you can get a call back from me.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

Theyve called my family members asking for deb collection services & they've filed many things against the court, but when i called back and ask questions he HUNG UP. i called back and they hung back up! DO NOT CALL
