They are a collections agency who buys debt with the intentions of collecting on it or pursuing it in court. HOWEVER, they WILL NOT take you to cort if you do not pay because they aren't even licensed in North Carolina to operate!!! If you would like to confirm that, you may contact the North Carolina Division of Insurance & speak to the complaints supervisor by the name of Angela Hatchell. (919)807-6855. You can report any complaints that you have to the Criminal Investigations Division by emailing reportfraud@ncdoi.gov or your State Attorney General. The owner of Barron, Gibson, & Phillips is named Dion Barron & the company address is 7925 N Tryon St. Charlotte NC 28262.

I just receive a call from the same people and the Lady name Samantha  telling that that I took out a loan for Capitol One credit card in 2000 and been paying on the card  and stop paying on it in 2010 then if that is so it's been 4 years while the hell are they calling now most credit cards will call you when your late on one  payment  not when you stop paying for  it for 4 years.  And yes as most of you has mention the man name Phillip truing to sound all professional but couldn't spell my name he as four time. I was like for sir you [***] can't even spell how the hell you trying to be an lawyer. Someone really need to get theses people right so they will stop harassing people trying to get our money. They need to be taken to court for harrassment. They tried this before last year and stated they was going to serve me but never did, and stating if u go to court it going to be around 5,000 or more. I believe it  is  against the law if I owe they they need to put in on my credit report.

Remind them I never owned a major credit card and the time they stated I told out the card I was not residing at the address. Nor in that particular state
