    SCAM.....LIES.....RUDE.....
You have ticked off the wrong person. I too have been subjected to rude behavior, name calling, hang ups, and denials of location, and company name.
I am taking the steps to finding these people. Believe me, with the help of all those above, people will be aware of your patterns.
These people pretend to be and I quote " process servers, a mediation company", and get this folks, "attorneys".
RECORD ALL CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!

    What??
Got a call from "Dan" from GNA Services saying that I owed from an internet payday loan from back in 2008 had all of my personal information and that if I didn't give them a credit card to use that they would be filing felony charges in the amount of $300.00 on behalf of their client.  Asked for information verifying this debt but was told that i'd have to find that myself.  I don't have a problem paying a debt that I know is legit, but this one seems kind of suspicous to me if they won't verify it.

so suddenly some unlisted number is a new reason to not pay your bills?  again, bad things happen, but there is NO excuse to not repay anyone or any company you take money from.  if its cash or credit, if you take and dont give it back as per a written contract, then you are a theif.  the fact there would be any laws protecting someone who steals is crazy.  your lucky these companies dont kick your door down.  keep hiding behind whatever you like, the best answer will always be simple = PAY YOUR BILLS and the collection agencies will go out of business!

not everyone who responds on here is a bill collector.  your 10 paragraph rant has a few mistakes.  #1 if a process server is calling you, they dont want money, its already to late for that.  #2 if your in the position you say you are in then you are NOT, repeat NOT a customer.  YOU ARE A DEBTOR, which is someone who doesnt pay their bills to the point that some separate company has to be hired to resolve the issue as if you were a little child. Customers, ARE treated with respect, and dignity, but DEBTORS are liars and theives, and will be treated as such.

instead of complaining, again, simply pay your bills and all these "bad" bill collectors will just go away as there will be no need for their job to be around anymore.

simply pathetic that as a bill PAYER, im stuck with higher fees everywhere i look so that companies can recoop money that scumbags have stolen from them.
maybe they should make a "debtor's jail" and have serious consequences for stealing money and credit, then we can be done with all of this waste of time crap as well.

    Tired
I've received calls like this for the past year. They have a list out there somewhere in the eather floating around. I retained legal counsel for this. Fight for your rights. Even if you do owe them anything you still have rights. Don't let them push you around. There are people out there preying on ignorance and your purse. I'm tired and won't take anymore. I looked up their address and it's someone else's place of business "Cyquest Business." These are some very nasty people. If I wasn't who I am, I would curse them vehemently! I refuse to go there but to a lawyer. They continue to refuse to give me the address of whom they where retained by, they claim they won't talk to me. I took out a payday loan before and the company was willing to work with me and it was cleared up.

I received the same type of call. I did previously take out a payday loan but paid it back with documentation to prove it. Even if you did miss a payment they will work with you to get it resolved.
I called a lawyer about all of this. I told them if this was a legitimate matter, I wanted strict documentation to prove it and it would be taken care of. All I got back from G & A was a lot of strong arm, extortion type tactics. I gotten calls from people with accents from India/Pakistan plus a load of marbles in their mouths, (unintelligble) We're waiting for their response to the letter my lawyer sent to them. I highly recommend if you have to access to Legal Shield through your Human Resources Dept., their assistance in invaluable for minimal payroll deduction for their service. I hope they fall in a burning pit.

    .

    1.  Payday loan interest is illegal in all states inside the US.

    2.  Payday loan companies outside of US have NO RIGHTS here as they don't pay taxes.  So they can't take you to court or prosecute you.

    3.  Payday loans signed electronically are not upheld in Court as there has to be a physical signature presented in court.  This is why if you ask these [***] for proof, they won't send it.

In other words...Payday loan collection agencies have no legal right to collect any money from you if you default. They will lose 100% of the time if they did take you to court. So if you are getting calls about Payday Loans, you have no legal right to pay them.  If you want too, it's your choice. But remember who was ripping you off with illegal interest during your desperate times.    And all of this data is from an attorney specializing in collection harrassement.  Good Luck comrades and stay strong!

    fedup
my husbands ex-wife opened many accounts in his name without his knowledge.. he attempted to sue her but was told he could not as at the time they lived in the same house and had access to the same computer. When he recieves collection calls they always have his info but her email address. She arrived home before he did and got the mail...all bills in his she then hide from him... he did not discover this was going on until he left her and she stopped trying to hide the bills figuring they had his info not hers. So as you see it is not always because he or others fail to pay THEIR bills sometimes it is the result of identity fraud!

Blow it out your [***] .....process servers do not call you to serve a summons. It would kind of defeat the purpose.. ;-)

If you google that address a Target store comes up.  The only other stores they have around them is Lowe's and Barnes and Nobles.  The rest of the units are vacant. I spoke with the attorney generals office today and yes this is a fradulent company.

So glad that I stumbled on this site. Dan did the same exact thing to me, I requested documentation and they just gave me a statement. So I faxed another letter and a very snotty guy left a message about my childish tactics and they aren't a collection agency, with "good luck" at the end of the messages, all that I saved. I filed a complaint with Pam Bondi in Florida, started to google and the address is for a UPS Store that I have in Georgia.

I received a call from this number and they identified themselves as a legal firm working for attorneys to collect a  debt and this man with a forceful deep voice named Dan Powers said if i didnt make payment that someone would be at my work to pick me up for check fraud.  Then I asked to speak to one of the attorneys and I got someone who was supposedly the office manager named Jeffery Anderson.  I told them I had a right to know what the company was and who the attorneys were..he said I had no rights because all the people they deal with are considered criminals..I have had numerous calls from other companies trying to collect the same debt..it is a debt I owe but how do i know that these companies are legitimately collecting so I can rectify this debt..How do I know that it wont show up down the road as being unpaid and I go over this nightmare again.

Yesterday, I received a call from G & A Legal, spoke with a gentleman that mumbled, that forwarded me to a Atty in the office that was handling my account. (he also wanted to verify that I had been served by my local sheriff on check fraud charges)  Upon my discussion with Jeff, he advised me this was case of me receiving a payday loan in 2007, I knew "damn well" when I took the loan out I wasn't going to pay it!" that was his exact words to me!  I explained to him that I had been a victim of identity theft and laid off from the employer he said I worked for since 2009!  I explained all debts were in a chapter 7 bankruptcy, I didn't get a payday loan, contact my attorney. He told me my attorney was a scum bag, a money sucking Peter pig.  Bankrupt had no protection on check fraud, I advised him I needed more information in which he was unable to provide! I advised him I needed to verify info and would return his call. Before hanging up, he advised me to give him my bank account info or stop at a store to buy a prepaid visa. I returned his call today as I promised, told him my attorney said this claim was fraud and I have rights with the Fair Debt Collections, we lost it!  He told me he has already closed my case and the sheriff would arrest me in 24 hrs, nothing he said today matched the info he told me yesterday. Not even the payable amount.  I advised him my attorney was on the line and again he lost it. Where do these people get this information? How can they threaten you? Harrasss you and scare you into a panic?  Can't something be done? Class Action law suit?  Had this debt been mine, I would have paid it, had he given me verifiable information proving it was mine, I would have paid it. I guess I will wait and see if the sheriff shows up...

Also ---- "jeff" told me that they weren't a "DEBT COLLECTOR" but a processing firm ---- repeatedly he told me this ----- and they were only there to "process" with the courts the "felony bounced check" charge for CASHNET ---- I've talked to cashnet and their records are WAY off from what "jeff" told me.  I DID NOT GIVE HIM MY BANK INFORMATION AND also told him to send the Sherriff on ---- I'm here and waiting!!!!  WOW!!!! what will people do these days to try and rob people???!!!
