T-Bird......You are greatly mis-informed. The organization is a debt purchaser, and holds, or owns the right to the account they collect on. Any request for interaction from the original creditor will not be responded to. In fact if you contact the original creditor after sale the will refused to discuss anything other than to refer you to who bought, and owns the account. The debt buyer has the right and can focus on both pre-litigation, and post-litigation collections. The consumers best interest is to always to resolve their obligation voluntarily, and not expose themselves to possible judgements or escalated cost. I would strongly advise any further posting to be factual and more educated to assist all inquirers.

Received a phone call from a Connie at LRBean and Associates.  Asking for someone that wasn't me and asked for him and his attorney to call back.  Have no idea what this is in relation to!

Someone with the number 281-653-0018 just called my son and left a message that I needed to call immediatley about a potential legal matter,he said he was with LRB & Associates. How did they get my son's cell phone number?  It sounded strange so I decided to google for more information.

There is no such investigation, and or litigation involving this company!!!!!!! The truth is a consumer advocate, and a disgruntled ex-employee who are co-conspiring to allure the consumers to a Farce!!!!! The link is a gentleman that uses an alias, and portrays himself as an consumer advocate linked to be associated with attorneys. The attorneys validate that they do not currently have, or ever have had association with this individual.The bottom line to the consumer is that it's your credit, and neck on the chopping block not theirs!!!!!! You may contact the original creditor, and pull your credit to validate what's necessary........The bottom line is it's your credit, and your future credit at risk. Either be living paycheck to paycheck for the rest of your life, or resolve your incurred debt!!!!!..........

There is a letter that can stop the phone calls it does not mean you dont have to pay because you do .

Its called a Cease and Desist Letter.

I was just notified within two hours of both calls from different numbers to call 855.969.0652 in regards to legal affidavit etc.  One was stating to be a courier to deliver legal documents and the other stated he was calling from lrb firm. I have tried looking up lrb firm with google and cannot find I website. I also traced both numbers given/called from and one was located out of arcadia, florida  and the other number stated it was not valid, but when I called both stated they were lrb law firm??????? SEEMS SUSPICIOUS!

LRB firm is a scam verified by my attorney.  All debt collection agency should send you notice in writing.  NO ONE is coming to your door papers.

They are persistent and very believable,  but since they don't want to offer up any validation of debt, they are bluffing!

LRB Associates in New York.  This is a common scam by criminal debt collectors to attempt to extort money from people.  What I have found:

These people are full of crap saying they tried to deliver a package to my home unsuccessfully and will try my work next and to call back 855-546-9041 to find out why or to reschedule. They try to threaten you and say they have a warrant for your arrest for a debt they have for an old payday loan debt they bought from a company. Its a scare tactic and a harassment tactic to get you to pay a debt that was bought by there company They would not go to your home or work because that is illegal but they claim they will go to your work and harass you and tell everyone there and your boos about the debt and that you have a warrant for your arrest and get you fired from your job, unless you pay them. I informed them I was recording the call and they hung up immediately, I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the  Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General here in San Antonio , TX.
