Just got a call from this number again for the 11th time, didin't answer because I'm restricted from 1-800 calls, so it's not official.

I will never register a domain with register.com again. I accidentally left a check box checked in the small fine print when registering 2 domain names about a week ago. Now that I look at the checkout page again I see the check box was confirming that I would like to receive credit card offers and what not. Starting the same day of the purchase I have been getting calls up to 2 times a day. I have never seen such disgustingly aggressive telemarketing tactics. The calls never have any ids just the number and they leave empty voice mails like creepers. I called them twice and told them to take me off their list and that my number is on the national do not call list (which is true). First time obviously didn't work, now I just got off the second call, if it doesn't work this time I am going to be seriously pissed! I will never ever register a domain name with register.com from this point. This is truly a disgusting spammy excuse for a company.

Who are you people talking to???  There is no one on this discussion board that is calling you and no one here can stop anyone else from calling you.   Call your phone company or the DNC.
This board is for you to report calls and provide information about them.  We don't call you!

Very well then,   I will just push the button that turns off what ever service you're talking about and ask whoever of the 350,000,000+ people in the USA , that is calling you,   to stop calling you.......hows that for service!

I'm getting call form this number almost every day.
I hate this.

I went on twitter and tweeted @register_com and told them to lose my number or I'd be losing their service. They appologized and took me off their list. After calling 5x a day and hanging up on me when I asked to be take off the first time. The day I decided to take to twitter was because they would call hang up call and hang up 3x and had resorted to an employee using a regular cell phone number. I can garantee this method will work for everyone, but you could try facebook too.

I registered a web domain at register.com and shortly received a call from this number. There was no one on the other end. After reading these comments, it appears that register.com has either condoned this harassment or been hacked. If it continues, I will complain to/about register.com publicly.

I've been getting a call from this number several times a day since registering a domain name with register.com.  Should have known not to do biz w a company that requires a phone number.  My bad.

Stop calling.    You are calling a cell phone.   Am reporting to FCC and will persist until you are fined.

Register dot com has been calling my cell phone repeatedly.    Don't use them!!!

Web.com owns Register.com.    I called the Web.com  800 number and they verified that 855-881-6933 is theirs and told me that they own Register.com.   I was transferred to Register.com, who confirmed that Web.com is their parent company.   So now I am on hold waiting to opt out.

I've called from a land line so that (a) they are paying for the call and (b) I am not using minutes on the cell phone they are calling incessantly.
