This number is being used in a call saying "a charge has been laid against you"  call this number before you are arrested.

I received the exact same call today

Got the same call at about 2:30 PM Atlantic time today

Scammer.....I over callng them to unload my day on them....called back no answer....can't wait for them to call again.
Said they were gonna contact lawyer and take legal action against me....

told me I needed a criminal lawyer, in heavy accent, and finally hung up on me.   I could not make out much of what he was saying, except he needed info re my taxes

They said they were the government. They wanted $4000.00 or I would be arrested. I said I would call the police and ask them what to do. The scammers hung up.

Has called 3 times today and left the same message about "me" having charges against me and that I need to find an attorney.

Called back.  Suggested he kiss my ass.

Called twice and left a message. I called back several times with the same F**** off message each time. This wastes their time and makes me feel better. If everyone did this....

Scammer saying they are the CRA asking for money.

I've received multiple calls and voicemails from this # over the last few weeks, last being today
First stating I'm guilty of tax fraud, and lately stating if I don't call back I will be responsible for all legal consequences

They've called twice in the last hour.  F off and die!!!!

Same BS as everyone here is getting, some female computer generated voice stating I have legal actions pending and this is my last chance to take recourse before it is too late...duh, duh...duhhhh.  Remember people, it's tax season and these vagrants want your refund and or play on you're fears.  Don't fall for it and report it to the police or CRA.

Just received a call (voicemail) from the same number. 9:14 am EST.
Called back, rang very long and then answered to say they are Revenue Canada. My husband challenged him, asked for a Canadian number to call back, not a 1-800 number. He said, and I quote: "Ha ha" and hung up.

I received the exact same call this morning but I didn't answer it.  The caller left a voicemail and when I checked it, it was a recorded message, that was cut off at the beginning, so I never heard the full message.  However, it stated there was a charge against me and I could go to jail and face legal consequences and should call number to resolve issue.

Presenting to be a police officer badge # 956854. Calling for tax evasion and wanting to settle the case before I get arrested named himself as Eric Hunt

I received the same message around 2:24PM.  Called back. They gave me revenue Canada tech center address (750 Heron Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V 2E4). I told them it is 8:00PM in Ottawa now, I'll check and call back. I'll call back and talk to them. The guy's name was Gavin Smith, he did have little accent, similar to Asian accent but very fluent. I could hear in the background, people were answering phone calls.

Same thing. They called today to say that I had 45 minutes to settle tax fraud of $4000 and if I didn't I would go to jail. I challenged him about the location of the call appearing as "United States" and he proceeded to tell me that they had a headquarters there. I told him to take a hike.

The caller said he was from CRA and that I had a law suit against me.  I told him I did not and he became aggressive and adamant.  I hung up.  Checked online and many people received the same call.  Could their number not be disabled by the service provider.
