Of course not. Real process servers don't call in advance.

Same script, they called me and called my father. I told them they were full of s**t and hung up. My father told them he didn’t know me lol

Same as all the responses above. They called a couple of weeks prior and then again.  I never called back.

I received a call from Anderson and associates. I thank God I decided to google the number. No reason for certified mail to be returned. They provided a reference number for me to use when I contacted them. I am not calling them back. Thanks everyone for reporting your experience.

I just received the exact same message.

This is the second time call. They used an old married name. This time they gave me a number. Document services litigation.  I asked where they are located. Nationwide.

They said name wrong.  Certified letters have been returned from the address we have on file.  and they will proceed with the claim against me without my consent. and to call 855 936 6216.   Do they think I would give consent if I called?  Simple check of whatever county you are in court records will show you if someone filed a legal claim.

I got the same exact verbiage on a call from the same number today. Claimed I had a chase credit card in collections with original amount $2200 which if I paid today would stop the forthcoming lien against my property. I said I never had a Chase CC, and she asked if I was claiming identity theft and if I ever checked my credit report to see that it was there. I told her that I never look at my credit report and she interrupted with “THETS NO EXCUSE BILL!”…..I called her a scammer and hung up. That’s when I googled the number and saw this. So…being the jokester that I am, I called back just now (5 hours later) and used my accent of a person with mental disabilities, claimed that I was sorry for my anger this morning and wanted to lay just so they “won’t take my stuff”….I strung them along for 10 minutes, not surprised that they would even take advantage of someone with obvious mental disabilities. When it got to the part of reading “the official documents” they just emailed me, I claimed “I couldn’t read to well”…she asked how I wanted yo pay and I said “credit card”…….she asked what card and I said “can I use my. Base card that’s in collections?”🤣🤣🤣
She said of course you can’t use that card….I said (in my normal voice now )”of course I can’t you scammer because I’ve never had a Chase CC”…..I’m not sure what she said after that as I was laughing, she was irate and yelling at me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
