- BenPrivate caller called my business. Caller was from some "Financial" company. Could hardly understand her. Asked her to repeat herself. She asks if I need a loan and then if there is a mortgage on the business property. Told her that is none of her business and hung up.
- Caller: Private
- ClaudiaYI answered this one once and they wanted the owner of the household. Obviously a solicitation call. I politely said I rented and hung up. Will not answer again.
- Clean| 3 repliesCalled repeatedly and told me I neaded an attorney to call them back about a debt they are trying to collect. they also call from 240-365-0592. They say they are calling from Hopkins law firm and usually his name is James Cameroon. They caller will vary. They have been calling me for several weeks. I have no debt and have never bounced a check. This is just another cover phone number for them to use. I reported them to the FBI and the FTC every new phone number they call from and leave to call them back. All they are trying to do is prey on peoples fear.

- Ripsi| 5 repliesThe lady has been leaving me messages for like two weeks. She finally spoke to me over the phone. She had my ss#, old email, and old bank account. She said i took a loan out with some company and she was trying to collect 1200. I couldn't understand her and then she put her supervisor on the phone. He starts saying how God won't help me and I need a lawyer and they were sending my case to federal court and stuff. So then I looked the number up and found this. They were saying they were going to take me to court and this and that. I told them is this was so why hadn't i got any type of court documents in the mail. Thaks for these postings so now i can calm down.
- Caller: Financial Bank Group
- Ripsi replies to CleanThanks you for submitting this information when i got the call i didn't know what to do. Thank u so much
- Jordan| 1 replyI keep getting phone calls from this number. I can barely understand the guy. He keeps saying that name is something like Max Stevens or something... CLEARLY he is Indian so I highly doubt that is the case. Anyways, he said that I had taken out a payday loan and blah blah blah...i hung up on him cause he rude. He has left about 5 messages on my phone saying that me or a lawyer has to call him back OFF THE RECORD. Why off the record?! Keeps telling me that I will be in danger if I don't call him back and that no one can help me. I'm not wasting my time with this guy and I'm glad that I found this page. The number he tells me to call back is: 410-801-4506. I've tried it twice and both times it tells me that person is not there or available. This sounds a bunch of B.S. Oh yeah one last thing, he said my payday loan that i supposedly took out was from 2005. Why wait this long if I did do it?! dumbass
- Not Leslie Anderson! replies to JordanI keep getting the same type of call and the guy keeps calling and asking for Leslie Anderson? This has been going on for like months now and everytime he calls I tell that I am not Leslie Anderson! And he called this past Saturday and left a message and at the beginning of the message he freakin burp! Well I called the number back it was 949-743-1140 and talked to Jonathan which I doubt is his really name b/c he sounded indian and went off on him! And he told me he was deleting my number and blah blah blah but I just got another call from him like 5 minutes ago and now I'm getting my lawyer involved!
- JP| 3 repliesRocky Johnson keeps calling saying I owe money to the "U.S. National Bank" ha! Apparently I took out a loan for $624 over the internet. "Officer Williams" has told me that I will be picked up if I don't pay this up. Seriously, at this point I'm having fun with these guys and I hope I annoy them to the point where they stop calling. Lies! All Lies!
- Caller: "Law"

- harassed in IllinoisYeah, same exact things are happening to me. They call and tell me that I had taken out a payday loan in 2005 and am going to be arrested for: money laundering, check fraud etc. etc. I have spoken with my states Attorney General (Lisa Madigan) Illinois. She encourages me and everyone else being harassed by these people to file complaints with their states A.G.'s office. They will puraue these people and shut them down. They are trying to get current bank account #'s or credit card #'s to scam you. They are using fear to drive this and believe me, there is nothing leagal about it. Next time they call you, ask them the name of their business and the address of the business so your attorney can contact them. They will terminate the call very quickly.

- worried replies to Ripsi| 4 repliesDid anything ever come of this? I am so worried. I got a call here at work today and they made it sound like they are going to arrest me by 12. I am scared and worried. I had a payday loan and thought all had been resolved. I told the person I would be willing to pay but I needed written documentation. She kept saying how there was no time etc.
- Harassed at WorkCaller has now called twice to speak to Bria Glover. Not me! Knows where I work, though. Started to tell me about some "bad news" about something that had been filed against me in some state. Asked him (caller is a man who speaks with an Indian accent) to identify himself, then pointed out that he had called before. He ends the call when confronted. Number has a busy signal when called back.

- Harrassed in WI| 4 repliesSame as the rest. Got a couple of VM's from a Leo Waters? At least I think so, strong Indian accent. (Cause I know A TON of Leo's from India)Each VM was EXACTLY the Same. Same words, stutters, breakage in words. Finally they got a hold of me. I did not answer any of their questions. They told me that Sept of '05 I took out a internet loan and never paid. So I asked them how much I owe. Ricky Simons tells me that he it doesnt matter because the "damage" is done. I tried to get his address, he would repy, it doesnt matter. I am the one asking you questions. I eventually got out of him, Sacramento California, Orange County. I informed him thats a City and State and County. I told him I will not answer any questions until I spoke to my Attorney. "Ricky" told me to have my attorney call back within 1hr "or else". I called my attorney to see what's up. My attorney informed me to have them send me something in the mail. Of course when I called these guys back to inform them of that, they told me that they can not send anything to me, "it's ILLEGAL". I told them why would my attorney tell me to have you do something illegal? They then questioned the fact that I spoke with an Attorney. I told them that I have hired council and do not call me again. He ended the call with "I hope you have somebody by your side to bail you out" and hung up. Pretty good scam, I'll bet they get some people. Only thing they will get out of me is all worked up!
They also call from 949-743-1140 - yesterday call replies to Harrassed in WI| 3 repliesThese guys got 500.00 from me yesterday because I was scared please help. They will not get another dime
- Bddvl| 1 replyI got a call last Friday and a call this Friday. I have a few payday loans out from the past that I am trying to clean up. For the most part these companies have all worked with me. The 1st time they called the left the number (401) 807-4504. The woman was indian and I could not understand her. She told me the same stuff about going to court for check fraud, money laundering etc. I was supposed to pay 1200 by 2pm today or an officer would be coming to get me. I told her i cannot pay but could make an arrangement. She put her "officer Williams" on the phone and he gave me the same harrasment. I told him i cannot pay anything today but perhaps in a week. He had all my information about a payday loan (United Cash Loans) I had taken out. After much disgust, he agreed to the payment arrangement but i did not give any information. He said he will call back next Friday for the 1st $600 payment. SO then I actually called United Cash Loans. They told me that I still owed them $580 but they were very nice to me. We made arrangements to take care of it over the next month. I told them about this call and they said NOT to send them money. It is a scam and that they would invetigate it since they are using there name. When the guy calls back I am going to get as much information I can but not send him any money. If anyone gets this call please try to find out what information they have. They have obtained it illedgally and must be stopped! Notifying the company that they are representing will stop it as they will investagate. I gave United Cash all the phone number information and everything they did to me to harrash me. If anyone has more information about this company please e-mail me at bddvl@yahoo.com THANKS - and dont be scamed by them!!!!!

- Kim replies to BddvlThese same people called me at work this morning saying that my case was being downloaded to my local courts at 12n today and that I would be picked up for fraud etc, when I asked the lady(foreign) what I owed she didn't understand english, she just kept reading her script, said it was a payday loan from 2005 with ?United something....I asked for a phone number to call her bak, she put her supervisor on the phone,he said that I would be arrested and charged and that I had 5 minutes to call him back, gave me phone number 410-807-4510, when I called the number back it went straight to a voicemail,I called multiple times, same thing. This is a scam wit people usin scare tactics. Dont give them any money or bank informtion. Banks and other companies sale old information on accounts that have been written off for as little as $100 and these companies try to make a profit.I repeat it is a scam.....
- ConnieThnk you for this posting I got the same message from these guys. They are calling my work in the afternoon and leaving threatening messages. When I call them back they say i will be arrested if I don't send them 1220 dollars by 2pm. I ask them for the company making the charges and all they say is US National Bank. I called my Attorney General Office in Illinois and they said that if I get A call from these people again to tell them that I have contact my States Attorneys office and they will be investigated and eventally shutdown. Also told me not to send them any money and that if you owe any money to any company that I must contact the company. This is fraud.
- MadisonI received around 3 nasty voicemails from someone named "Leo Walters" (yeah right)he kept going on and on about how this matter is extremely time sensitive and I need to call him or have my attorney call him @ 949-743-1140. He stated not to ignore this message and that if I don't call him back all he can say is "good luck". The other messages pretty much said the same thing but he decided to add that this was my final warning but he still called again after that (how funny). The last message I received he told me I was going to have to suffer the consequences as this matter unfolds on me! I thought this was so funny because he really thinks he can scare me! (been there, done that before) I found this to be so funny that I stored the phone number in my phone as DUMB ASS! LOL....Anyone who is worried about these idiots and there threats, don't sweat it, they can't do anything...its not even worth giving it a second thought. Just laugh about it and move on! If they were taking you to court, trust me, you should be notified.
