They keep calling asking for Charlie B and saying that he owes around $800.  (He is deceased. About 5 years now.)  As far as I know he owes no one anything.

856-925-1180 keeps calling my house asking for mary b cole (daily)   notice that the middle name is b on both charlie b and mary b.  They ask for your social security number and date of birth.  Tried telling these ([***]) they have the wrong number.so tell them to stop harrising me or i will press charges    they have called and stated that they were mary b cole's son in law and he was trying to find her to give her money.  Wouldn't you know where your mother in law lives??? These people are monsters

Recorded call asking for my mother.  When call the number back it says it is a disconnected #.

This # keeps calling for a Dorella Borban yay I love having a landline it's so annoying!! These people should be fined its ridiculous!!

They Keep calling and asking for a guy named Shawn.

I do NOT know this guy. they need to be sued.

Who the hell are these people and if they are a collection agency - who do they collect for as they never identify themselves and none have yet to advise on who they are trying to reach.

This is a copy of the letter sent to the Attorney General of NJ.

I am receiving multiple calls daily from a collection agency asking for someone who is not at my number (cell phone).A message is left even when I try to answer the phone. The company is SRA associates (856)925-1180 is the number that shows up on the phone however that number states "a non working number" There website shows (800)735-0552. I have called and left a message demanding that they stop calling. As silly as it sounds to answer the call or check voice mail every day is costing me 100 min per month.

Please let me know what to do.

(a) Federal Trade Commission

Compliance with this subchapter shall be enforced by the Commission, except to the extent that enforcement of the requirements imposed under this subchapter is specifically committed to another agency under subsection (b) of this section. For purpose of the exercise by the Commission of its functions and powers under the Federal Trade Commission Act [15 U.S.C. 41 et seq.], a violation of this subchapter shall be deemed an unfair or deceptive act or practice in violation of that Act. All of the functions and powers of the Commission under the Federal Trade Commission Act are available to the Commission to enforce compliance by any person with this subchapter, irrespective of whether that person is engaged in commerce or meets any other jurisdictional tests in the Federal Trade Commission Act, including the power to enforce the provisions of this subchapter in the same manner as if the violation had been a violation of a Federal Trade Commission trade regulation rule.

(b) Applicable provisions of law

Compliance with any requirements imposed under this subchapter shall be enforced under—

(1) section 8 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act [12 U.S.C. 1818], in the case of—

(A) national banks, and Federal branches and Federal agencies of foreign banks, by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency;

(B) member banks of the Federal Reserve System (other than national banks), branches and agencies of foreign banks (other than Federal branches, Federal agencies, and insured State branches of foreign banks), commercial lending companies owned or controlled by foreign banks, and organizations operating under section 25 or 25(a) [1] of the Federal Reserve Act [12 U.S.C. 601 et seq., 611 et seq.], by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System; and

(C) banks insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (other than members of the Federal Reserve System) and insured State branches of foreign banks, by the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation;

(2) section 8 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act [12 U.S.C. 1818], by the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, in the case of a savings association the deposits of which are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation;

(3) the Federal Credit Union Act [12 U.S.C. 1751 et seq.], by the National Credit Union Administration Board with respect to any Federal credit union;

(4) subtitle IV of title 49, by the Secretary of Transportation, with respect to all carriers subject to the jurisdiction of the Surface Transportation Board;

(5) part A of subtitle VII of title 49, by the Secretary of Transportation with respect to any air carrier or any foreign air carrier subject to that part; and

(6) the Packers and Stockyards Act, 1921 [7 U.S.C. 181 et seq.] (except as provided in section 406 of that Act [7 U.S.C. 226, 227]), by the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to any activities subject to that Act.

The terms used in paragraph (1) that are not defined in this subchapter or otherwise defined in section 3(s) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (12 U.S.C. 1813 (s)) shall have the meaning given to them in section 1(b) of the International Banking Act of 1978 (12 U.S.C. 3101).

(c) Agency powers

For the purpose of the exercise by any agency referred to in subsection (b) of this section of its powers under any Act referred to in that subsection, a violation of any requirement imposed under this subchapter shall be deemed to be a violation of a requirement imposed under that Act. In addition to its powers under any provision of law specifically referred to in subsection (b) of this section, each of the agencies referred to in that subsection may exercise, for the purpose of enforcing compliance with any requirement imposed under this subchapter any other authority conferred on it by law, except as provided in subsection (d) of this section.

(d) Rules and regulations

Neither the Commission nor any other agency referred to in subsection (b) of this section may promulgate trade regulation rules or other regulations with respect to the collection of debts by debt collectors as defined in this subchapter.

I keep getting calls on my cell from this number.  When I answer the phone no one is there.  I have tried to call back the number and it is apparently disconnected.

I've getting a lot of calls from these folks. I called Jack's cell tonight. I think we're on the road to resolution.

Just got a message from this number asking for a Ray ?
Could not understand the last name.  This is a company number and we do not have anymore working here by that name.
I hope they do not continue to call here.  We have had this number now for 5 months and we get a lot of different calls coming through.  But, always asking for someone different.

Call once a day from 856-925-1180 looking for Dennis Akers.  Nobody at this number by that name.  When I call back it says number is not in service.  I have been unable to get this company to stop calling.  Very annoying.

They have been calling my house for months now looking for some chick named Ellen pappin . Don't Know this person I have lived by myself for 10 years now and have told them this several times,yet they continue to call my house and wake me up every other night since I work 3rd shift. I am sick of them and want to find them. Bo

They called leaving several messages. My thing is stop calling if no one has called you back.

They called me (recording) asking for my brother's ex-wife (who has never lived at my house)!  They said they were giving me 3 seconds to hang up to confirm that I wasn't her.  Instead, they gave me a split second and then said since I didn't hang up, I was confirming I was her.  I then hung up.

I called them back but the number was disconnected.

i don't know who this company is either , but I keep getting calls on my cell phone ... I called the number listed as the company contact above , and they sais they would remove me form the lict we will see.

These people are dumb.... Got a call.... Didn't get to the phone in time... looked up the 800 number (as I called the number on my caller id... & it was disconnected)... called the 800 number not 5 minutes after the origional call & thier office was closed....

Stupid that they call right when they close... caller must have wanted some Overtime.... Otherwise what would he have said if we talked?  Gotta make this snappy... I am off in 1 minute????

They keep on calling me and ask for someone whom I never heard about.  When I call back number is no longer in service/has been disconected. what a nuisance!
