When you say hello, the call sounds like a real person.  They say something like "Hey Danny" and in my case, I said "Danny is not home," then there is a pause and a voice recording that sounds like an actual person, says "OK, we'll try her later."  I think this happened once before and it turned out to be one of those marketing charity call places that refuse to take no for an answer and would keep calling every day.

Breast cancer charity albeit one that does not seem legit.

Charity Scam, blocked their other number and suddenly they call on this one.

called left no message. I don't answer number I don't recognize, for obivious reasons.

Bilge rats calling again with their phony charity $@^^% feces. Hung up.

Credit card scammer calling !!!

I HATE these automated garbage voices and they think we don't know it?? HUNG UP immediately and put the number on my call blocker.

Just got this call.....she says my name and identifies herself as Maria and you can tell she is reading from a script saying"you are harder to get hold of than it is getting my kids to clean their rooms"  and then laughs.  She goes on to say she is calling from American Breast Cancer something or other and I had to interrupt her to tell her that I have no money to give and to take my name off their list and she slammed the phone down on me..

First asked for my mother or me, after I said it was me, I also got the "your harder to get hold of than then it is getting my kids.." Sounds liked a computer generated voice. Then the pitch started about a breast cancer charity, to which I said "Stop!" Had to say that twice which indicates a computer "person." Finally I mentioned that my mother was at a place in rural Canada, the family cemetery as she died at age 97 in 2002.

I hung up

If it were a real person, I hope it made her feel 3" high.

Finally I called the number on the box. I could be wrong, but the name announced, United Breast Cancer Foundation, sounded different than the call. The voice was another cheery type, though.

Do I think this is a scam. Yep.

I should note the call was at 8:14 AM. Isn't there a regulation against calls before 9 AM?

They call every day, twice a day. I do not answer it as I don't know who owns that phone number and if they can't leave a message it can't be important.

Constant robot calls from CCI

Called twice today.  I do not answer.  Caller ID lists CCI.

8573017567 Calls twice a day, sometimes they speak sometimes not. They ask for my mother who died two years ago. I told them we don't have money I can't give and I. Also have a sick 9 year old who goes to bed very eary

Calls repeatedly and meal times, does not leave message.

This number called my DNC listed landline today at 0955 hours.  Because fully 99% of all calls I get on my landline are scam artists, I had no reason to believe this particular call would be any different.  I was busy so I just let it ring.  Then I came here, found out the nature of the scam, and blocked the number.

Same scam/claim only called from 857-323-0374 today.  So they're using different VoIP phone numbers to plague people.

And they just called AGAIN, this time, today at 1428 hours.  That's four calls from them the last two days.

said I was harder to get ahold of than getting kids to bed. I said stop I do not want to hear any more. she kept talking as i SCREAMED AT HER TO NOT CALL ANYMORE.

If not getting ahold of you bothers them, If you ignore or block the calls, that should really piss them off!
And do wonders for your peace of mind.  Yelling does not really work on scammers anyway.  They have no feelings.
