Ken, be careful.  If you call back a toll free number, your number is NOT blocked.  Since the owner of the toll free number is paying for the call, they can see the number calling them even if it is blocked for non toll free area codes.

Eversource competitor scam.

I'm guessing Gunnar works for the FCC or some other do nothing government agency.

Buy a window alarm, small little white alarm, takes three batteries (included).  I use it when I don't recognize the phone number, it's fabulous and the caller has no clue what's coming.

I keep getting these calls from Eversource "competitors" -- I block the number and they call on another number. This time I picked up too late. But I think it's the same scam as other people reported the same profile

Smarten up  public dont be dumb enough to answer. Thats why these vermin keep calling. Imagine if they got no response how frustrating it would be?

Recieving 2-3 calls a day from this number stating ever source replacement.

They'd get your voice mail, just like answering to a robot call

It's not true that the 857 exchange is a cell phone.  My daughter works for a major healthcare company and her number is 857.  But, anyway, I live in MA and am sick of these Eversource calls.  I am always blocking numbers and as we all know they change them all the time.

It is not Eversource .It is an alternative power supplier trying to con you into switching

they're backkkkk. I blocked them and the calls stopped, of course. then I ran out of my 350 slots and unblocked some call numbers to make room for some newer callers. their number popped up within  a week.

Paul, I am aware of what you wrote, but area code 857 is a Massachusetts area code, not a toll free one. Toll free area codes are 800, 888, 877, 866, 855 or 844

We got a call again from this number today at 12:07 pm, and it was blocked again by our call blocker. The caller ID was still MASSACHUSETTS. Please see my posts of 30 Jul and 24 Aug 2016. They need to revise their robocalling software to eliminate numbers which block their calls.

Received a call from this number - no message was left.  Caller ID just read Boston MA
