PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS, CONTACT YOUR LENDER FIRST TO VARIFY,  IF YOU ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING OR REFINANCING  A HOME BE AWARE OF THE SCAM PHONE CALLS WHO ARE TRYING TO GET YOUR INFORMATION BE CAREFUL.

Not a scam. I'm applying for a mortgage and they just wanted to make sure that my brokerage account listed on my credit report wasn't some other loan or extension of credit. But just to make myself more comfortable, I called back using the official phone number on CoreLogic's website, and not the phone number on the voice message.

This number was given as customer support for ebay .
