- DonnaI've been trying to find out who this is calling. Usually, when the answering machine kicks in, they hang up, but tonight at 8:44 when the answering machine came on, a man said, "Hello, Donna?" and then hung up. I'm having the same problem as others listed here.
This is one of the main reasons I let my answering machine screen my calls. - JH in Boston***REAL INFO ON THIS NUMBER***

They are a collection agency. If they are calling, you, someone in your family, or someone who gave your number as a contact, may owe a debt to one of ther clients. But that doesn't mean they can call you at all hours etc! You can write them a letter (paper, not email) instructing them not to call you at a particular number(s). They must then stop--at least for 30-days, I think.- Call type: Debt collector
- ny2007They keep calling looking for a person who has the same last name - I told them that person never lived in our home. They keep it up. Let's take them to court!

- QFI agree, let's take them to court. This phone call is the #1 reason I screen my calls and it's been going on for months. While I was on vacation, this automated message filled up my answering machine causing me to miss an important message that may have cost me $2,000-10,000 in freelance work. This has class action written all over it. Who has a hungry lawyer?

- DavidI didn't get a call but I got a letter at my office asking to verify the employment of somebody I've never heard of. I called to inform them that I don't know this guy. A few days later they called me looking for somebody else. I would advise avoiding all contact with this number.
- STOP ITI have been getting the same calls as everyone else - late at night and early in the morning starting at 4:30 am. I will file a complaint with the Attorney General and FCC.

- DonnaWhen I answered the phone, I was greeted by a recording stating the next available representative would be with me shortly. A "Brad" came on the line and asked for me. (My daughter answered the call.) She told him I was not home, and would not be back until later afternoon. He asked specifically what time. She told him "late afternoon, you can figure it out from there". She then hung up. 30 seconds later he called back and was screaming at her that she was rude and again asked when I would be home. She asked the nature of the call and he said he was from "PRI" and he couldn't discuss it with me. He grew angrier and more intense and asked who she was. She told him she was my daughter and asked if she could give me a message. He said he couldn't discuss it and she said she had no reason to relay the message. He told her it was against the law to diclose anything to her. She said, "I beg to differ." He responded by screaming at her to "get a book of law and look it up". Funny, she's a paralegal for a law firm that deals with creditor/debtor issues all the time. SHe laughed and hung up. He picked the wrong girl to mess with....

- John replies to Not ApplicableWhat they are doing is illegal. As an employer you can tell them to stop calling. They may have to have a certified letter, but if you notify them by certified mail they must legally stop calling. Get their address and send a letter. If they keep calling you can take them to court for, I think, $1500 per call.
- LDReceived a call earlier this week and informed the caller that the person they are looking for does not live at this address and I have no forwarding information on them. They called yesterday, I did not answer the phone. They called this morning I answered the phone and once they answered I repeated to them my conversation from the other day. Asked them to remove my phone number from their list. The guy on the other line started screaming at me and I hung up. He called back and I hung up again once I recognized his voice.

- J. FranklinBegan receiving calls intermittently around June-July timeframe, sometimes 4 - 5 times per week, or only 2 - 3 times per month. If I answer they hang up immediately. If I just pick up the phone without speaking they will say "hello?", then if I answer back they ask for someone who owned this house about 5 years ago. (Note: I have a different phone number than the previous owner, so this outfit is obviously using some sort of street/phone number cross reference to get my phone number). I've told them that the person is no longer here, but they continue calling back. Other on-line sources seem to indicate that these people are a collection agency. This would seem to make sense, due to their evasiveness and strange behaviour. AT&T has a number for reporting harassing phone calls: 1-800-769-4099
- SteffWell I work nights and try to sleep during the day. I get a call from this number all day long. I told them I work nights and am sleeping. They are looking for my husband who had dealings with his ex wife and bills. They told me that since we are maried that I am responsible and that they can take my money. They said that I had better not lie and started asking me personal questions like how long have we been maried. I am so sick of these people.

- concernedThis people call my house about 4 or 5 times a day even on weekends, and they always leave a message saying this is PRI please hold for the next available representative. Tired of it specially with kids usually the phone rings when they are sleeping or taking a nap.

- DBThey called my cell phone looking for someone else, when I informed them that the person was not at my phone the girl became rude and hung up in my face. I called back to speak with the supervisor, but haven't heard from anyone.
- A private citizenA female called this evening asking for James Johnson. When told that no one by that name lived here, she asked if I knew him. I said no and she hung up. I dialed *69 to get this number.
- ChasThese people started calling me about a month ago, and the calls average 3-4 per day. When I pick up (which I've done twice), there is a pause and a recording says, "Please wait for the next available agent. It is very important that we speak to you." Or words to that effect. So it's a machine that's dialing numbers off a computerized list. If I hold, eventually someone comes on and asks for me by name. When I asked who was calling, the person asked again for me by name. I insisted on knowing who was calling, and the person said "Premier Incorporated." I asked what it was about, and the person said they had to talk to [my name] and wanted to know when [my name] would be available. When I said I wasn't going to give any info unless I knew the purpose of the call, the caller started sputtering invective, so I hung up. I won't pick up again.

- API get 5 calls a day from this number 859-655-7670. I called them today and they answered PRI. I asked them what type of company they were. He (Mark) told me I had to give him my phone number before he could tell me. I refused and he told me not to be difficult! I asked again if they were a collection agency or a sales company and again he kept asking for my phone number. I wouldn't give it to him so he hung up on me. I called back and got "Mark" again. I asked to speak to someone above him and he just kept telling me to give him my phone number. I hung up then. I say we all call him back and keep asking for "Mark" and waste his whole day on phone calls from us!
