I just added them to call rejection, lets see if they can get through now

Calls at least once a day, no message left, hangs up if I pick up.

Called about twice an hour and wanted to speak to someone I've never heard of. Complained to Cincinnati BBB and calls stopped.

They call here repeatedly. I answered once and told them that I owe no back debts.  The name of this compant is Premier Collection Inc. their address is 7300 Turfway Rd. Suite 250 Florence, Ky. 41042  Better yet, their toll-free number is 1-800-776-0707. Let's all call them between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Those are their regular hours of operation.

Keep getting annoying calls all hours of the day and evening including weekends.  let my answer machine pick up and there is just another hang up. Other nubers attributed to this company also show up on my caller ID.
Just wondering if they are supposed to abide by the national NO Calls list?

§ 805.  Communication in connection with debt collection   [15 USC 1692c]

(a) COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONSUMER GENERALLY.  Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt --

(1) at any unusual time or place or a time or place known or which should be known to be inconvenient to the consumer. In the absence of knowledge of circumstances to the contrary, a debt collector shall assume that the convenient time for communicating with a consumer is after 8 o'clock antimeridian and before 9 o'clock postmeridian, local time at the consumer's location;

(2) if the debt collector knows the consumer is represented by an attorney with respect to such debt and has knowledge of, or can readily ascertain, such attorney's name and address, unless the attorney fails to respond within a reasonable period of time to a communication from the debt collector or unless the attorney consents to direct communication with the consumer; or

(3) at the consumer's place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that the consumer's employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication.

(b) COMMUNICATION WITH THIRD PARTIES.  Except as provided in section 804, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector, or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, or as reasonably necessary to effectuate a postjudgment judicial remedy, a debt collector may not communicate, in connection with the collection of any debt, with any person other than a consumer, his attorney, a consumer reporting agency if otherwise permitted by law, the creditor, the attorney of the creditor, or the attorney of the debt collector.

(c) CEASING COMMUNICATION.  If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt, except --

(1) to advise the consumer that the debt collector's further efforts are being terminated;

(2) to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor may invoke specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by such debt collector or creditor; or

(3) where applicable, to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor intends to invoke a specified remedy.

If such notice from the consumer is made by mail, notification shall be complete upon receipt.

(d) For the purpose of this section, the term "consumer" includes the consumer's spouse, parent (if the consumer is a minor), guardian, executor, or administrator.

I just recieved my first call from this place in Covington ,KY. They claimed they were from JCPenny calling about how i filed for Bankruptcy and outstanding debt i had to pay them. I of course am not in debt and never even bought an JCPenny card. I told them that they had the wrong number but they still kept on arguing and said that they could check by me giving them my last 4 digits of my Social security number. I eventually hung up saying that this is a scam

Same old thing they call me non-stop throughout the day and when I do answer I get some recording.  I now have this number blocked from my home number and on ignore on my cell phone.

i got a call from this number saying please hold for next representative so i held to see what it was it was a woman named tiffany asking for someone named jillian. i told her that jillian does not live at my number we got this number by it being reissued please take my number off list she said ok i understand then hung up hopefully it won't call back.

They continue to call my former place of employment, even though I lost my job due to them calling daily.  I asked them to note the account - that stopped the calls to my former job for 24 hours.

They call me at least 4 times a day. I work nights and now I have to shut my phone off to sleep. I will not be able to get an important call now, but I can get some sleep.

They called my neighbor looking for me but they will not say what they want.  I was furious, can they call my neighbors ?

They would call everyday and leave a recorded message and a number to call back.

Hey, I got a call too and after reading these posts I figured out what it was. I broke my hand and couldn't pay the bill, so I just pushed it off for a while and eventually got a letter from this company in Covington, KY saying that they were collecting the debt. I put the check in the mail last week, so they should be getting it soon and hopefully won't call me again.

This is a bummer, because I thought it might have been a call back from a job! :(

Rude, harrasssing for money not owed. Said debt from 1993..it's 2008. Keep calling us and bothering us..We don't owe the debt they are talking about..don't even know what it is.

They called today (Sunday) and claimed to be wanting checking acct # for COBRA.  That is insurance not a debt.  Told they no on the # and they hung up, will see?

I've gotten several phone calls on my cell phone from this number 859-655-7670. My cell phone number is now on the national do not call list. I hope it takes care of these unwanted calls.

If you don't recogize the number I find that it's best not to answer.

I work in the HR Dept. We received this letter to verify contact information of someone that is not employed. The letter did not include a signed statement authorizing us to release information, so I decided to be nice and call them to request the signed authorization. I dialed 9-1-859-655 and I heard this alarm sounding tone. I retried a few times and the same. I googled the number and I got this page. I guess their request will go to the shredder.
