Sham Microsoft technician calling to fix the office computer

Same - Windows Scam. I did however string him along long enough to call him out and actually angered him enough to use vulgarity. Caller ID Midway KY - Be careful people!

Same crap as everyone else. These lowlife scumbags will never give up and care nothing about U.S. Laws. So just don't answer and get a call blocker!

I was expecting a call, so when the phone rang I answered without checking the id. A man who said his name was Robert said he was calling from Windows. My computer was hacked and I needed to logo on to fix it. In a loud excited voice I said "Really wow I had no idea. What do you need from me to fix this, my social security number, my bank account information, my birthday, please tell me" he then said " Sir why are you yelling." I told him  I wasn't yelling I was just so excited some one from Windows was calling me and that theybwere trying to rip me off. He then hung up.

Glad I checked these messages. Got call a call at 7 pm. Did not answer and they hung up as soon as answering machine picked up. Third call today from all different numbers.

Received a call today said from Midway Kentucky  thinking it was from my friend I called back.  Message said that the number was disconnected, check number and call back.  Received a call 9-15 and it showed unknown name.

I got a call from a lady in a foreign accent.  Said she was from Microsoft Windows 10.   I told her I don't think so and told her I would call the FBI and said this was a scam.  She wanted to know why I thought that.  she insisted someone was in my computer and deleting files as we speak.  I told her no, I cannot understand you.  She then talked to me really slowly and I told her again, if you are from Microsoft, verify my email address.  She said one moment and then hung up.  This call was Kentucky as well.

We didn't answer and caller didn't leave a voicemail message - that is what we do, we don't answer unknown numbers just check voicemail...legitimate calls usually leave messages or you can tell by the message. If they do leave a message that they are from Windows computer screening your computer then get the number for Windows if you want, from the official Windows website to see if they called.
