I got a call from this number today same as most of you, I had contacted time warner within the past few days and also live in ohio

Just got a call from them...can't call them back...  I'm in ky

I have been getting calls from this number the last week and everytime I called back nobody answered. Earlier today I finally got through and it IS TIME WARNER CABLE. Anytime you change, modify, update, transfer or do anything with your service your name gets put on a list or something. I just told them to take my name off of whatever list they were calling me from because it was disrupting my work.

Got a call on my cell today. Never got this before. Last night I signed up for time warner cable. When I ordered my cable service I talked to a middle company who handles billing. They tried selling me a whole bunch of technical support packages. I would guess that this company is selling numbers or calling to sell more stuff.

I get this number on my caller ID every stinkin' day at least three times!!! I already figured that they must have made their network change their actual phone number so caller IDs can't get the right number to call them back... I mean c'mon... 864 area and 864 prefix???? that's too suspicious.

I live is oshkosh wisconsin and this is happening to me. if i answer, they hang up. they Call 3 to 4 times a day... this has been going on for weeks..

It's clearly not TimeWarner folks. On the other hand, I would like to know how they got TimeWarner customer numbers. Sounds like TW's customer list was hacked (as was suggested by someone else earlier). If that's true, they might also have our social security numbers since TimeWarner sometimes asks me to supply the last four digits of my Soc# for verification. Arrrg.

Who in the FCC should be contacted about this? Should Time Warner be investigating also?

this is starting to drive me crazy!  they called my cel phone 5 times today and nobody is there when you answer

The same thing has been happening to me. I have a Columbus number but am in Dayton most of the time. What's this about????

I get 2 or 3 calls a day never any one there. I'm from OH as well.

I As Well Had Time Warner Cable and got a call from 864-864-6344 guy said he was from time warner cable called me by my first name and started to go in to there spicial promotions that they have.
i desided to sign up again with them just after fighting with the corportate office to ge out of a 2 year contract just after 2 months they said the wireing was bad in the apartment so they could not promise the internet cable and phone speeds . we moved and thats when we got this call and i decided to sign bad up and he said he was going to put me on hold and the connection hung up.

I live in Columbus, Ohio area.  Get this number twice a day m-f.  I cancelled my Time Warner cable, so it could be them I guess.  No ring when I called back.  Been going on several weeks.

If you have AT&T service you can add the number to your block list and it will never ring in on your line again. I did and it worked!

I was getting call from this number also (864-864-6344) with no response on the other end.
I have AT&T svc and added it to my call block list!
PROBLEM SOLVED!

I have received 21 calls from the number 864-864-6344 I have reported  it but it does no good. The number I have it blocked but it still comes over my caller ID after it rings one time.  The caller gets a message that we are not excepting the calls at this time.  The MORONS continue to call.
UNWANTED CALLS ...WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO STOP THEM.  That is why they are called UNWANTED!!!

Been getting call from that number for a couple of weeks...  I answered today and a male asked for me.  When I said- "this is" he hung up.  I tried to call right back and I got  the ole'  " this call cannot be completed as dialed" recording.  Tried to call again a little while later and got strange busy tone.  Very fishy.

I keep getting calls from (864)864-6344 and the caller ID says South Carolina. No one's there when I do answer and they never leave a message on my machine.
