I'm now getting several calls a day from different numbers soliciting donations on behalf of who knows how many organizations. And they don't stop calling whether I don't pick up the call, or do and tell the caller I'm not going to give them anything, ever, and to take me off whatever list they're working from. Stop calling!

The call from this number was on behalf of the Jacksonville Shriners. Know what I found out when I called Jacksonville Shriners directly to complain? They don't care.

They contract with Estelle to make these calls, don't know where Estelle gets the phone numbers from, and won't contact the company about removing your number from their list.

I just received a phone call from 865-246-1280, reading "Shrine Services" on my caller ID.  I answered...could hear people in the background talking.  I said "hello"....no response....again, "Hello"....no response.  I finally YELLED in the phone, "HELLO....YOU ARE RUDE!"  The phone "clicked" and went into the recording, "if you want to make a call, please hang up....."  

You cannot tell me this is from the Shriners!  They are a reputable group and I've NEVER had them call me to solicite money!  I'm also on the DNC list....am reporting them!

I just called the # back...said it was a Shrine Solicitor....selling tickets to the Shrine Circus!  Go figure!

DO NOT go to their web site (www.shrineservices.com) - it has a virus/malware in it - my Cisco firewall caught it.

This Shrine Services is a FOR PROFIT outfit and is therefore subject to the Do Not Call List. They are NOT the Shriner s .

dont call me and hang up i dont appreciate it so loose my number cause i want answer your call i have caller id and im tierd of my time being wasted trying to get to the phone

I received a call from Shriers 914-294-2543 (which is the March of Dimes).  A  professional fund raiser told me that for every $5.00 I donated, a child would be able to attend the Zurrah Shrine Circus.  I was told to put my check under my doormat, and someone would pick it up, and leave a receipt.  My husband didn't think they were on the up and up, so he started checking the numbers, as I was pulling my check out from under the doormat.

How sad that an organization that does so much incredibly wonderful work, would be used like this for scammers.
