When I answered the phone - no one there.  We are not a construction company, nor are we big enough to worry about safety meetings if the call was to be like any of the above mentioned scenarios.  We are a graphic design firm.

You, John, are a shill.....In fact - from what I've discovered - what this company is doing is ILLEGAL!!!

These folks cornered my Dad last year, and convinced him that he had to buy their posters in order to be compliant with federal work safety regulations....cost my business $75 to get the same worthless signs that I can get for free!!!  If the gov't requires me to have them - then they'd better provide them to me.

We are a two employee LLC.  Both of us are owners, and we do not have to have these signs posted at all!!!  Total scam that uses scare tactics to get business!

Now, they're calling back a year later and telling us we need the 'new, updated' versions to comply with the new laws.  I've got a 'new update' for ya - call my shop again, and that call will cost you $1000 plus court fees.

FYI - Caller ID shows the number as 336-792-1837

Apparently still in business and still up to the same old tricks. I guess they think, labor and construction means thick skulled. This company should be disgusted with its tactics. I work with ex-cons and they all have legitimate work. Don't settle for criminals for your boss. You can do better.

I am a worker at Safety Services company and yes you can get your postings for free but most people are too lazy or too busy to look up these types of things. We are a legit company and a lot of clients love our business. With such a huge company of course people are going to be hostile at times because our managers and supervisors can not be in control of the way EVERY representative handles the calls they make. We are not only in prisons because we have at least 3 locations I know of and I work in one of them. The reason why inmates are hired is to give them work for their families and pay their own fees for the government but also because it is a tax WRITE OFF for the company owners so I believe it's a money thing.
Now one thing I must say is that a lot business owners are extremely niave when it comes to staying in compliance. I, myself, have tried to get help from the Cal-OSHA website and had to pay for a subscription before receiving any type of information on how to stay compliant. The Barack administration has caused a lot of regulations for Manufacturing companies so YES, if you dont stay in compliance YES you can get fines. If you have the energy to Google our company and Google the telemarketers who call you then go online to the OSHA website and look at what you can do to stay in compliance but don't call us liars because You believe everything that you read online. If I believed everything I saw online and on TV and in magazines then I'd be full of incorrect ignorant information.
    Thank you.

Before you believe that you dont fall under "federal regulations" watch some politics or look up the OSHA.gov website. Construction companies are not the only ones who have accidents.
    Thank You.

I've worked for Safety Services Company for a while now, I've read all 5 pages of everyone's comments complaining on the company that keeps thousands of businesses in the U.S and Canada in compliant with the crazy requirements the State and Federal laws set for sole proprietors to large corporations. Yes we have had issues with Safety Advisors giving false names, saying they work for OSHA, being too aggressive, ect and that's exactly why they do not work for the company anymore we have came a long way with our customer service, it just take you guys to give us your time of day to let us help you, no we are not telemarketers because we're not trying to sell you dream vacation, we are safety advisors and our job is to advise you on OSHA requirements to protect your business from any potential fines you can receive for being out of compliant, go on the OSHA.gov website, it's had all the fines they give companies right there for you to read, and ill tell you right now they range anywhere from 50-1000's of dollars, if we figure out your out of compliant than accept it and take care of your business. Thank you :)

That is absolutely hilarious, how in 2-3 minutes you are going to tell me about and analyze every facet of my safety program to tell me that I need your services.  Tell them our safety guy is not around and he still tries to promote the 2-3 minutes that will change our business.  However just to spit that much out took 5 minutes, as I patiently waited for something to "hook" me in, which wasn't happening at all anyways, but I was entertained.  Almost want to hear the 2-3 minutes and the 3 questions that will tell them everything about my program.  What a scam.  It is just as bad as those that want me to pay for forms that I can download and print for free.

No matter how you slice it, you work for a bunch of liars, that try to scare people into buying your product.  They are a scam company and because you work for them you are no better.  So your opinion means nothing.  You work for liars and usually like attracts like.  You don't care about people otherwise you would not work there.. What goes around comes around,,karma is a [***].

These guys are now leaving messages from 888 943 3237.  Same message, but while our answering machine message was playing, could hear the guy saying "Hey, diddle, diddle, hey, diddle, diddle" over and over.   Stupid scammers.

These individuals are NOT safety advisers, They are nothing more than telemarketers working at Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario Oregon. They are murderers, thieves, child molesters and rapists. I know because I worked for National Marketing Solutions for several years serving time for a gun charge and second degree kidnap. They are taught to read a script which is questionable at best and then left to their own devices to lie, cheat or steal from you as often as possible. They have an active board of accounts and if you are not at the top of the list you are fired. These companies could actually provide a good service if they would train these men properly and represent the company honestly and with some professional integrity. A quick telemarketing call can be very easy...it's either yes or no and leave the potential client with a "have a great day and thank you for your time" It's that easy. Phone sales are all about numbers and by being direct and polite will help you obtain a good sales average if done correctly.

Calling saying I've order their material, now owe them money.  Called them to tell them had not order anything, they told me I had to pay $47.47 for a restocking fee. lol  I only received a few papers in one envelop, so what is there to restocking.  Their number said unknown, so if it is real why hide their number.

They try to get you to authorize them to send you a package so your "OSHA doesn't expire". They try to make you believe you already do business with them. They use VOIP numbers so they appear to be local to you. In my case, 830-549-4358.

If you authorize this, they will transfer you to a "supervisor", who will record your authorization, and send you crap printed from OSHA's website and a huge bill. When you realize you've been had and try to return, they tell you there is a "restocking fee" you now owe since you authorized it.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

I just had to deal with theses people.  They talked to my husband who is a one man operation , and he told them that he didn't need it , they insisted they send a brochure out , so he agreed . Next thing you know we get a bill for $400 , I cal in and the lady told me " your just mad because your husband bought something without your permission " and hung up on me . I have been rejecting their packages and I've talked to many (rude) "employees" I finally talked to "Charles" he said my balance would be zero and I was no longer in debt to them , so I keep getting bills.  I call back and he tells me he knows nothing about our previous conversation . I finally threaten my lawyer and the paper I have with zero balance on it , and he tells me I have two accounts and that he will take care of it. .... shady do NOT give them your personal information ! I think it's all a big scam '
