The call came in a couple of days ago while I was out. The message left for me was that it was about a summons.

I called Michael Davis, but didn't identify myself. I asked if this was a debt collection agency, he wouldn't answer. I said, don't you know what kind of business you're running? He started to stutter. He said to tell him who I was and then he would tell me who he was. LOL. He kept stuttering and then finally lost his temper, yelled at me and hung up.

These kinds of tactics are common with debt collection criminals. Never admit to anything, never agree to anything. They just want to scare you into paying them. If you actually get a summons for real, 99% of the time they don't show up for court. And if they do, they have no case without the actual original credit contract with your signature on it, and even then they still may not have a case unless you agreed on the phone to pay them.

They just called me too...  i added them to my block list on youmail.  now if they call back, they'll get the operator tones - this number has been disconnected and is no longer in service.

sure would like to know who they're calling on behalf of, i don't know a mr wilson, so, their loss.

Got a call from Michael Davis asking if I received a summons. I have never heard of a Michael Davis. I think he's a debt collector.  Don't answer.  He called from number 781-202-4060 and asked to call 1-866-210-3296.

They called on my number for someone that isn't myself with a recorded message saying to call back to 8662103296 and with a reference number and when I called back they said it was Mr. Wilson's office... and I wanted to know why I was called and left a message for someone that isn't me and then they said that they would remove my number from their list.... but then again how do they know what number I have called from?

They just called my work number! ERRR! They said I needed to callback and speak to Mr. Wilson about a legal matter. They didnt give a company name either!

called from a 781-202-4060...said mike davis...thick accent. number is from burlington,ma. return number was 866-210-3296. what a joke, asked mr wilsons bar number, guy stuttered, got nervous. asked what state, guy about cried. bogus morons from old debt is my guess. bought a house last year, got 4.00 financing.... legal matter my ass, some idiot tryin to sound intimidating.

MY Mother just came by my work very concerned about an ugly message for me left on Her home phone.
The call threatened me. A Michael Davis called. They said they were building a case against me, and I had better get an attorney. I have no outstanding debts, and I have no idea who the hell Mr. Wilson is.    Dennis the Menace's next door neighbor perhaps.? I too just bought a house, and had to jump through hoops to get it. I work hard, pay my bills, and don't appreciate some scam artist scaring my Mom like that.
I am going to contact my local Police department about this.

Got a pre-recorded message (ladies voice) stating it was an urgent call for a Kenneth Whalen (???) and to press 1 if I were him. Otherwise to have him call back to 866-210-3296. This is about the 3rd time I've received this pre-recorded message and my caller ID says "Restricted Caller ID" -- Does anyone know how to find out who it is? And how do you block these calls?

I keep getting calls from a Michael Davis calling for Mr. Wilson.  The number the calls come from keeps changing.  They've even called my mom.  The last time he called I answered the phone and told him he was bogus and that this was a scam.  He got very angry and started cursing me out on the phone so I hung up on him.  He called back and left a very nasty, unprofessional voice mail.

The debt he called about was originated over 14 years ago and was paid in full at that time.  I wish these guys would get a life.

ok i just got a call too from him he asked for me i said i wasent home at the time and said i was someone else . he has a new york accent. he said i have a sommons so i said my daughter dosent owe anyone and she hasent gotten any sommons and that i didnt understand and he gave me a toll free number 8662103296 but yet he said this is from my town that i live in so if so than why dont i have the local number so i knew that this guy must be a scam artist . it dont make sense !! so i put the number in yahoo serch and found this so now i know for sure this is bogus.

Left a message on my machine from Michael Levine wanting _____ to call him about case #_____ from St. Louis county or have attorney contact him TONIGHT! Call came from 781-318-3697 with Wilson Asasociates on my caller ID but wanted us to call 866-210-3296.  Bogus idiots need to get a real job!! When will gov't ban these jerks??? Telemarketers & bogus collectors - hate em all!!

Just give this info to your State's Attorney General.

Watch out for bogus phone numbers these 3rd party debt collectors like to use to get you to pick up the phone........One use 201-340-895 for his caller I.D.  It doesn't have a last digit so you can't call him back.  It's from the New Jersey area.

Ya, I just received a call from that same 201-340-895 number. At first nobody said anything, then he asked for me, I said I was whom he was calling, then he hung up. I get this call from this number quite often. But my phone co. will only allow 10 digit #'s to be blocked.

I got the 201-340-895 9 digit calls. Three calls in 24 hours. No message left by caller. Call comes from New Jersey.I did not answer. Can you block the number by guessing what the last digit is? I can block up to 5 numbers.

                  201-340-8951
                  201-340-8952  
                  201-340-8953 etc. Will this method work? Anyone know?

If you get a call from a lady calling herself Megan Cooper about an important legal matter, Don't say anything.  Just hangup the phone and file a complaint with the FCC or your state's Attorney General's office.  She's probably a 3rd party debt collector troll for Pn Credit Services.

That phone number 201-340-895 is always a person with an Indian accent it sounds like to me.  I ordered Propecia one time from a Canadian website and they say they are calling me because I bought Viagra sometime before which was not true.  It sucks because the do not call registry will not allow you to register the number.  I believe it is an Indian company that produces generic drugs that goes through Canada, they could be calling from somewhere in the USA though.

I got a call for my son who lives out of state and has not lived with me for about 20 years. I asked what it was about and was told that it is a personal matter. I then asked why do you keep calling me, and was told because we need his phone number and address. I told him that was not up to me to provide to someone that would give me no information. He kept on talking and told me that I did not know my sons
credit problems. I told him, all I know is that he had no credit cards or bills he did not pay. Again he wanted info. on my son. I told him to stop calling me because it seems criminal. Isn't it against the law to harass me?
