Yes the bill they tried to say I owed was from 2002. 18 years ago. They told me they were going ahead with judgement. I asked them to send me proof of the debt or that it even exsits and the woman said she was hanging up and  not to call them back again. I called back..... many times. See how they like to be harrassed!!   Im positive its a scam.

Im glad I had my girlfriend to check on this Davis and Edward because a lady was going to remind me to put money on a card to paid some money for a bill back in the 8 years ago. I never got a call so I’m not going to put money on the card.

They been calling me and saying that I own them money which I don’t understand they say that I when to the hospital and didn’t pay the copayment back in 2011 but I haven’t received any letter or anything about this

Just received a call today from (206) 338-2053 saying they are a 3rd party and I need to call (866) 217-0251 about case #TYC1753. They couldn't tell me anything other than there is a complaint against me. I have no idea what this is but I have blocked the number. I don't have any unpaid debt anywhere on my credit report. Nothing that I am not up to date on. Seems like a scam.

There is NO complaint - just a CROOK trying to extort money from you.  Report at www.consumerfinance.gov & your state attorney general.

Got a call from the same number. I don’t have unpaid debt so I’m calling bogus.

Said a complaint had been filed against me and to call this number.

My husband had a person call from Davis & Edwards stating that from 2010-2012 he had an unpaid phone line. At that time we didn't have a land-line. He was told he received a letter back in January 2020 and he owes $600+. We recently had a loan taken out last year and this was not on his credit and we certainly never had this number. Also, he did give his birth date to which I am cringing over...

A call from a New Jersey number came i stating that there was a complaint and to call 1866-217-0251.  However, I called from a different number and the phone rang out.  So I decided to Google the number and this came up.  Guess it was a scam.

some company called and said I had a complaint against me, so i called this number 8662170251 and it turns out I had a debt from 2013 from Verizon with over 2,000$ owed. It was sold into collections in 2016 and they owned the debt since then. They're a collections agency.

No they are not legit.  I have no debit and they called with my maiden name, its been many years since I have used my maiden name. So its a scam to ChrisG  most likely works for them hahaha

This number left me a voicemail saying they was trying to reach me about a package. When I would not give my information she hung up. I reported this number

Hi I reported they [***] and now I’m filing lawsuit a against them Via FCC if anyone wants to join please file complaint with FCC. First they called me saying I have a complaint filed against me then they wanted to verify my DOB I told them he’ll no send it in mail via writing
She said sorry they won’t do that. Common sense if anyone has any complaint the first thing they do is put it in writing. Can’t hussle a hustler dumb [***]! Then they gave me a ref# and had me call another number
They called me from 940-310–5490
Then I was directed to call the other number with ref# (866-217-0251) and that’s when she asked for my DOB and got [***] down immediately
So if they can’t technically prove a complaint that is legitimate
They will owe me

I received a call from a 3rd party telling me to call this number and gave me a reference number. They said something along the lines of money was owed but they couldn't say what it was. So I called the number he gave me and no response.
Seems fraudulent to me.

Total scam! I called the company they referred to because they gave me a check! I never owed anything! They were trying to get $1000.00 dollars! Sad these people will convince people they owe.

A number called me telling me a complaint had been filed against me. They would not give me any information other than a phone number (8662170251) and a reference number. When I called, the lady who answered kept confusing my maiden name and my married names. When i asked her what this was about since I was confused due to the names she had listed,  she said that It was hard to keep track of all the names I have. I have been married twice, only 2 name changes. She was extremely rude do I asked for a supervisor. Ana Miller gets on the phone claiming to be a floor supervisor. We start discussing this debt, a bill from Sprint. I ask to have something sent to me because I'm going through a divorce and It is A joint debt that needs to be presented. She says that they are not sending anymore paperwork to me and that they are going to garnish my wages. I agree to set up a payment arrangement. Something didn't set right with me, so I did some investigation. I pulled my credit report and the only Sprint bill I ever had is listed under a different company name in my credit. So, I call the collection agency on my credit report and they verify that they are the owners of the debt. They tell me where I can report Davis and Edwards. So I call Ana Miller back to let her know that I will not be honoring the previous payment arrangement. She then tells me the debt is over 7 years old so collection agencies cannot collect the debt. I was confused because I had Sprint from 2016-2017, so it's only been 3 years. Then Ana Miller tells the phone of this supposed debt. It was my first cell number ever under my mom's account. This number was never in my name. Then she gives me another cell number that belonged to my ex husband and our service was AT&T. After that I decided to call the original creditor, Sprint. They verified that I owed money from 2017 and the collector that they sold the debt to. David and Edwards was not the collection agency. Ana Miller needed to know if I was going to pay this debt or not. I explained to her that I was going to record our conversation and let her know that Sprint does not know what they are talking about. The amounts are wrong and phone numbers are wrong. Then she tells me it is not about the account I had from 2016-2017. Well, then there is no valid debt. I only had Sprint service one time. I told her to do whatever she felt like she needed to do but I would not be paying them anything ever.
