This is not USAA Bank! I confirmed the call and number with the official USAA Bank whom number is 18005312265. Do not give these people your personal information! It is a phishing scam! I repeat, a business will not call you and ask for your personal information over the phone or through email. This is a fraud!

We've received several calls from this number & they finally left a message today. A man identifying himself as 'Ronald' claimed to be from USAA & requested a callback to ext. 6328. That extension was a red flag because USAA extensions typically have 5 digits. My husband called the usual USAA phone number & they said the same thing to us as they did to Shawn above. Needless to say, I'm extremely glad none of us answered any of the calls. I will be blocking this number from now on.

Got a call 8:15 AM  July 17,2010  after waking me up, on a Saturday morning, needless to say I was ticked. I thought that calls could not be made until 9AM to 9PM. Then after answering they hung up because it probably was an automatic system call. I called back to gripe and the dumb guy said he couldn't find my number, now how in the Hell did he think I called him back? Caller I D  duh. When
in the Hell are they going to honor the no call list.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I call it back it goes straight to a Susan Van Arkel voicemail. No idea who she is or what company she is calling from.

We have received calls from this man Ronald 1866 228 3614 ext 6328... my husband called USAA to find out what they needed they said that when they call, it's an automated service call and that this number is being used as a phishing scam... Please beware of this... USAA has posted info regarding this on their website. There is also a number on there you can call to report this to them.

Been getting calls from this number, listened to a voicemail today, from "Jason Gundy". I called the number and it went straight to voicemail. The voicemail of "Marco Lopez", Marco and Jason have oddly similar voices!

This number  belongs to a collections agency that USAA is partnered with.  If they ask for information form you it is because they don't have access to information on file with USAA.  But it is legit.

They are an independent collections agency.. Ever hear of outsourcing?  Oh Wait !!!!   I got it, Pay your bills on time and they won't call.  What a concept

I wouldn't give that number any info (regardless of their legitimacy, the less people have my credit card number the better).  Just get online and pay your bill.  I recently lost a credit card and forgot to update my USAA billing info and so I missed a payment.

Do not give your info to any callers. If they actually knew you, they would already HAVE your info. Duh!

i have called many people that have Verizon phone service.. when they choose to have an automated voice mail answer instead their own voice it uses a generic voice... probably the same case here..
