This number is used by Fundraising Direct. We currently present this telephone number when making survey, administrative and fundraising calls on behalf of a number of charitable organizations, political parties, and non-government organizations.

If you have received a call from us that was either unwanted, or more importantly not to the level of professionalism and courtesy that we expect from all of our staff, please let us know.

We have an e-mail address for any and all feedback in regards to either being removed from our calling lists, or lodging a complaint about a call you have received. That address is feedback@fundraisingdirect.ca.

Please be assured we take all complaints very seriously, and fully investigate each one that we receive.

In order to swiftly locate your details in our system all we need is your telephone number and your name, and we will then be able to remove the record from all future calling. It is absolutely not our intention to call anyone who does not wish to be contacted, and so you will be removed from all future calling that we conduct.

Rest assured we are a genuine fundraising company which supports many charities in their fundraising efforts.

We will not, under any circumstance, use your number or e-mail address for any other purpose, or pass it on to any other third party (except the organization you were called on behalf of)

This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls, but reporting them here does not stop the calling.  YOU have to take action to do that!  Consider buying a call blocker.

i don't want any call

Do not call after 8 pm.

I am on the DO NOT CALL list and that means...don't call me!  We have been harassed for 2 wks. now.  I am ill and these calls interrupt my sleeping, and we are called TWICE a day.

Caller claimed to be from the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, wanting to conduct a "brief 3-question survey."  I said no thank you and hung up.

The Do Not Call list does not apply to charities, legitimate survey companies, or political parties.  Use a call block feature.  Check with your provider.

I tried using Bell's  and Convergia's call block system but they will not block specific 800 numbers - they will, however, block ALL 800 numbers which really is not convenient either.

It's not actually someone calling me that I'm not interested in that pisses me off. It is taking the time to answer the G**-D***ed phone and nobody is there. So fine, you are blocked for good now. I'm sure the charities kindly thank you for losing another donor.

"fund raising" needs to realize that the vast VAST majority of people do *NOT* welcome these calls. It is absolutely ridiculous that they can get away with this crap, while hiding behind the "but we're a fundraiser" excuse.
If there was any way to entirely outlaw this type of operation, the vast VAST majority would immediately press the let's-do-it button.

I get calls from this number every single night. I answered once to no response. Remove my number 514-484-4439 immediately and PERMANENTLY from your list. Thank you.
