Please remove my name and phone number from your calling list.  I will not answer unknown numbers and spend my charity dollars without phone calls from anyone.

Called at 10:41am - answered but no one there.

Repeated calling - dead air. Irritating.

I personally think that it is funny you actually believe that posting that request to a 4 year old post will actually work.  Of course there are a ton of people here who would like to know the outcome, so please stop back and let us all know.

This number keeps calling me more than once daily a d doesn’t leave a message. It floods my voicemail box.

BigA ... this problem is current and has been going on for 4 years and maybe more!
You, and whoever is interested in the outcome, can come by and see if anyone has the time to post an outcome ... that is after going to the phone 2-4 times a day from the same # and no one there.
One's own phone should have a Call Block option, not necessarily through the provider.

I can see you either did not actually read both the post I replied to and my post and then applied some actual time to think about what I was saying, or you simply did not comprehend one little piece of it.

So you who appears to know everything, and assumed that someone didn't request removal in the proper way ... why didn't you suggest what should have happened, if in fact it was done incorrectly?! That Fundraising Direct, after Catherine's name, was a live link to be able to REPLY to the original explanation at the beginning of this report.  Or contact them by email directly at feedback@FundraisingDirect.ca  And there's even a postal address posted on this thread. I received a polite and apologetic response saying I had been removed from their call list.

The point of BigA's post to Catherine Van Arkel was about replying to an otherwise old post that the OP would not see the reply due to the age. Your reply  stating the obvious about "this had been ongoing 4 years" and insinuating   that the OP was meant to encourage people to reply to here it is simply absurd!

So, good for you and if anyone else did the same as you and got the same message, then why would they return here? Anyone who did get a notice of removal would  not learn anything new by returning here.

This isn't a support group for  "Fundraising Direct", its about people sharing those harassing calls that won't stop and they can read the first post same as you did. If in fact they requested and their number did get removed, then they wouldn't have any need to visit this thread again, would they?

Personally I would not have wasted my time with a reply to that.  It looks like it is here simply to argue.  I also notice that it did not use the reply button this time, a common trick among trolls to get their posts in without anyone knowing about it.

Fund raising non-profit organizations are exempt from the application of the DO NOT CALL list. Consequently, unless they voluntarily cease to call you, you have no recourse.

A call once every month and just hang up once I pick up the phone. Really? WTF! I just blocked the number so I can't be bothered. Its now just annoying & unwanted harassment. These companies have no respect for the consumer. Not sure how its legal.
