Ok its bad enough that this company is repeatedly calling over the last few months. I have never spoken to them and they dont leave voicemails. But calling at 5:33 am is not ok or even legal!

I don't think that the call you are receiving is from us if you are receiving calls at 5.33am.

We are closed at this time, and our opening hours are usually 1.30pm to 9pm (Monday to Friday) and 10am to 5.30pm on Saturdays.
Would you be able to verify that the number that is being presented is 1-866 229 7859?

The only other possibility is that you are in a country where is is early morning when we are dialing, and somehow your number is being forwarded? (For instance, in Australia when it's 5am, it's only 3pm in Montreal/Toronto where we are based)

Either way, if you send me your contact number at feedback@fundraisingdirect.ca I will have it removed from calling immediately.

I would suggest not sending an e-mail to Fund Raising Direct.  It is bad enough they make repeated robot calls with dead air..what is next--e-mail spam?

I agree.  Remove all 514 area code phone numbers :D

I do not like unsolicited calls. I work 12 hours a day, stop filling up my voicemail, stop contacting me for money. If I see fit that a "non-profit" organization is deserving of my money, I'll contact you.

You can request that yur name be removed  by email as per the fund raiser direct post  and thereby retain you anonymity

I blocked one of your numbers and instead of realizing I do NOT want to give you money you call from a different number. [***] right off. I donate to things I want not your [***].

That Email address does not work - says it is not a valid email address. Good way NOT to raise money is to harass people.

Received call from  that number. Then immediately from another number 416-852-4568. Maybe same scammers call center?

You are responding to a post from 2014.  Your caller does not maintain, nor even probably check this website at this point.  How do you expect someone who posted two years ago to come back and know who you are and what your number is on an anonymous website?????

I just received a call from this number and there was just dead air when I said hello and then the line disconnected. I called it back and the IVR basically listed off a bunch of charities that they call on behalf of. This didn't really bother me. I was just curious to see what information google would have and I stumbled upon this forum which is quite comical, I found it entertaining to read :)

Thank you so much for explaining your company policy! Just followed the intructions you specified above in order to stop the calls.  Wish others marketers would follow your lead...sure appreciate it!

First of all, you're replying to a 2 year old post, secondly you're a shill, and finally you're misleading everyone.  When someone requests to be remove from your call list, do you tell them that they are only being removed from the list associated with that particular "charity?"  No, I didn't think so.  They may continue to receive calls as long as they are on a list for any other charity you do "business" for.

I used the email address today and the email didn't get returned to me  ( feedback@fundraisingdirect.ca  )  Hopefully they stick by their word and remove me as they state they will.
