This "bottom feeder" debt collecter tried to collect an old debt that had been paid and disputed on my credit.  They were rude and didn't listen to what I had to say.  I had to hang up on them...by that time, my blood was boiling.

Same thing for an old debt claimed in error, previously disputed (claimant actually owes US money).

They phone on different numbers, some of which DO identify them on the caller ID

same with everyone else--they keep calling when they know they have the wrong person;  when I answer the phone, there is no one there, I hang up and they call back and still no one is on the line.

They have been calling for years for an alleged account owed to AT&T wireless.  I have written numerous letters denying the validity of this account, yet they keep calling. My contention is that if AT&T provided someone with service without verifying their identity, why should I pay for their negligence. My last letter informed them that I dont need credit, and I dont care what they do, but I am not paying one cent until they go to court and obtain a judgement, which they can't do. I bought caller-id, and I no longer even answer the phones unless the number is familiar.

I constantly get calls on my home phone for a person named Ann Driver.  I have told them to remove my number from their bank.  They will not do it but continue to call and when I call back they say they have already removed my number.

I have received two or more calls from this number, asking for my 9 digit social security number to "better access your account". The calls are to my cellphone, never to my home phone. My cellphone number has been given to my family only, leading me to believe they are not looking for me by name, just for personal information to steal.
The recording claims they are a debt collection agency. Funny thing is, I haven't been contacted by anyone claiming I owe them money for at least 30 years.

I have the exact same issue with these people! I've been getting calls everyday, at least twice a day. The first phone call comes around 8:30 in the morning. When I answer, there's no one there. When I call back, I get a recording, and then it goes silent! The calls are extrememly annoying and I don't know how to make them stop!!! I've been disputing an account with AT&T wireless for my mother-in-law. Someone had used her ID to open up an account several years ago, and now, she's being charged for the charges. I've sent police reports and letters, but they keep sending letters for payment!! There's no way we're paying for something we're not responsible for!

It's a junk company, I believe that people believe there might be something to it, but they're only skimming for personal data, rubbing their stink all over you. Scummy world.

These are the worst of the worst

"Palisades was a key player in a long-running scheme with a multi-convicted criminal named Orazio Lembo. He would pay bank employees from Bank of America, Commerce Bank, Wachovia, PNC and several others for personal information, including the social security numbers, of account holders. There were more than 675,000 names in all."

These people have been calling me for about six weeks.  They would call and leave a message.   I never called them back until today and then I realized this was not legitimate.   When they first started calling, I thought it might be legitimate because my insurance company wasn't paying one of my bills in a timely manner.   When I called the number back today, the recording asked me to enter my nine digit social security number.   I then realized that this must be a scam because I am not late on any bills.    I do not have any credit card bills and my insurance company has paid the doctor bill.    So, don't give these people your SS number.  Don't bother with them.   I consider it another scam.

Repeated phone calls from this number. When you try to block the number it states the number is not valid. If you call the number you get a recording asking for your social security number. I found out this is a debt collector however I am current on all my bills and do not have any collection proceeding going on.
