Received a call from somebody stating they were from Bank of America regarding my credit card. She had my first and last name then asked me to verify my zip code. I replied saying YOU CALLED ME! She said ma'am please call the number on the back of your Bank of America credit card so we can discuss your account with you. Sure, ok!!!

Same.  Multiple calls from this number.  Caller ID says Bank of America.  Person knew my full name.  Wanted my zip to proceed.  When pressed said to call number on back of card.  I did and Bank of America confirmed no calls were made.  Must be a scam

FAKE Bank of America call. DO NOT ANSWER. BLOCK THIS CALLER. I was receiving these calls every day till I BLOCKED IT. After all I know my bank doesn't love me that much, to call every day. I'm on the GOOD list

Same number, still trying to scam people May 2022

I have received the same vm many times, plus a couple of emails. I never respond back because I knew it was a scam.

I too get these calls daily an they do know who they are calling as they use my full name. I have their number blocked so when they try to call they automatically go to voice mail

Same here, he knew my card number, he wanted my zip code to verify me. I told him there’s was no reason for me to provide that info. He was polite. I called BOFA and they told me they didn’t contacted me.

A woman called stating she was a BofA representative and asked me to verify my card billing zip code and my last payment amount..as soon as I told her I didn't feel comfortable answering her questions, I noticed she got a little bothered.
BOTTOM LINE, BEWARE DON'T ANSWER ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION!

I received a voice mail (they have no shame) from this number. Since they identified themselves as Bank of America, I returned the call. They said they were calling about debt consolidation and if I was interested, she could transfer me to a company. NOW I knew this was suspicious. I asked the name of the company and she told me there were 3 companies. Finally, she gave me the names: Take Charge America; Green Path and Money Management. She said to call 888-260-9342 and they will assign me to a company!  Im calling Bank of America Fraud Dept. to day. Obviously, this is a scam!

Scammer called and left the call back #1-800-918-8520. They gave the run around. I didn't confirm any info, but I was listening to the background noise. I could hear someone coaching her. Also noted her frustration in her voice as i gave her the run around. Finally let her know I'll just go to my local branch and she said she wanted to resolve my "account issue" but could tell me what the issue was.

BLOCKED Received a call from 1 866 247 1112, a FAKE Bank of America rep, Deb Windsor? She left  VM with a  Call back # 800 918-8520 (does NOT match the called from #).  Called Bank of America and they did NOT call, and only the check department has the capability to make outbound calls.

BOA scam-tried to get my elderly mother on phone who is hearing disabled.  I informed them i was on her account and I would handle whatever issue(knowing they are fake), they asked me my name, I told them if you have the account info, you should know my name. I informed her I was calling BOA myself. They hung up.  BEWARE! They are still at it! They called my mothers house 3 times in the last 2 weeks, I finally answered and this was the outcome.  Trying to take advantage of our seniors!
