It is UPS when you create an account. How about just call the number back. What is the worst that can happen?

The worst? You provide them all the information that they request, thinking that they are legit, and then later find out that it was a fraudulent call. However, you'll only find out after they use your info to do whatever they wish and you get stuck with anything and everything that they do.

It is NOT UPS, it is a scammer folks and I found their "air force products" website that looks more like a 7 year old made it. Take a hike Joan.

Appears to be a valid UPS number, perhaps a contractor for UPS. My Verizon phone reported as spam, i did not answer. Also got a follow up email with the employee Brandon with a legit email address. I emailed him and he apologized saying this happens when a user creates an account with eBay or PayPal. I had just opened a personal account through PayPal to be able to ship through UPS. PayPal overrode my request and called it a Business account. Brandon said for me to call UPS and verify him and the phone number. UPS: 800-742-5877.

Called me by name in message left. Claimed to be from UPS and wanted to help me with my account. I am not a business owner and have never had a ups account.

Left message saying "checking in with you to make sure everything is going okay with your account." Left her number and a 7 digit extension #. I do have a UPS account but not calling her back. Seems suspicious. No issues with my account - I've only used it once in the last year.

This is a legit UPS phone number. It was a rep from their customer service asking me if my issue  with them had been satisfactorily handled. I submitted a ticket because they were supposed to do a package pickup at a client's office but never came.

Shill alert! Go ahead, explain why you bothered to look up a known phone number when logically you had no reason to do so. Anyone receiving a legitimate call from this number would not need to look it up.

Claiming to be our UPS account manager with no idea who the business owner is or what service we provide.

Call from "UPS" to discuss our account. Anyone legit with UPS would know to not call our field office, and to call our corporate office. I call BS on this.

Received a call from this number (1-866-248-7643) at 4:15 pm on 07/31/20.  I did not answer, but the caller did leave a voicemail message.  The caller indicated she was calling from UPS and stated she was looking forward to assisting me with my business account.  She left her name (Sherry) and that I could call her back at: 1-866-248-7643 x1132413.

I sent her a text message indicating that I was not interested and to stop calling me.  I also blocked her number.

Got a call from "John" at UPS. He did have part of my UPS account number. He indicated he was just appointed as my account manager. He was not specific as to why he wanted to talk with me but he did want to discuss something he noticed on my account  He gave a call back # of 866-248-7643, ext 1132072 and an email address johntawiah@ups.com

Stated that they are from UPS and were looking for ways to improve UPS's service during the COVID Pandemic. Person was slow providing phone number like they are new to this. I am not calling back sounds like a scam.

This is a legit call, and not spam. It comes from UPS and it's a sales rep. They might be trying to upsell you but I'm not sure. It's usually for people that signed up a shipping account recently and they're just trying to reach out.
